Isn't he supposed to be in a baby carrier backpack? :monkey3

*waits for Jye to photoshop it*

In ROTJ it hits a vent pipe inside the DS causing it to lose its radar dish.

In TFA it comes out of hyperspace and crashes thru a ton of trees and ground and not even a scratch.

Boooo.

They're trees dude. :lol If you hit something at Mach 200 which do you think will budge first? Some wood sticking out of loose dirt or a piece of the freaking Death Star? :D

Besides you can easily rationalize that Lando had shields positioned in the rear to deflect TIE fighter blasts while Han had shields full power in the front for his crash landing. If the Falcon shields can withstand such a massive blast from a Star Destroyer in ESB that it literally rocks the entire ship without visible damage I can handle it plowing through some trees. :lecture

Vader/Emperor arrival onto DS in ROTJ remains very powerful, very epic.

Nothing in TFA can touch that.

The MF escape in TFA is the best part of the movie, but part of me still wishes it was Han flying it as we were made to think in the trailers.

The MF landing on Starkiller base is just way too much abuse without damage to the Falcon that I can take though.

Well, like many vehicle enthusiasts, Han had the Falcon simonized.

Ok you both convinced me, TFA needs reenforcement points. :lol

I will say that TFA has completely redeemed ROTJ for me. What for years had been a dubious "gateway to the PT" with its merchandise friendly teddy bears and first steps down the dark road of characters just sitting around talking to each other and unconvincing 2D backgrounds is now a charming and unique change of pace from the other three films.

I never stopped liking the space battle and moments like Luke going off on Vader or the funeral pyre but now I can just appreciate the whole movie from beginning to end as just its own thing.

I really like that SW (outside of the prequels obviously) continues to be an ongoing saga where each chapter is brought to life by a new director, from Rogue One all the way to the end of the Sequel Trilogy.

You need to watch that Ewok video JAWS introduced me to, it will change your views on those cuddly furry fuzz balls. :lol
