Too bad River Phoenix passed on , he had Harrison's mannerisms and looks down. I would rather see a Jar Jar High School Musical

sent from my R2 unit

Yes that was a right waste great actor too, He was more Indy in Crusade then that Sean patrick guy in the Young Indiana Jones ever was.

Damn, yeah you're right. It was impressive what he did in TLC for the age he was.

Though if he were alive today he'd be too old for a younger Han Solo wouldn't he.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

River would be almost 43 today, older than Ford when he played Solo in ANH. Sean Patrick Flanery will be busy playing a major character in season eight of Dexter.

If they are going to make a Han Solo film they should cast an unknown.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

How about Ryan Gosling? Attractive and lately his movies have been pretty bad ***...

He seems cool but if an older Han played by Harrison were to appear at any point it would be too apparent that they look nothing alike.

Very valid point. I don't know if the technology from Tron Legacy would work in a Han Solo movie. I hope they pick a good actor!

Boba Fett should never remove his helmet in his solo movie.:lecture

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Do all of these stand alone films need to be live action? If they did a Han Solo film in a Clone Wars/non-photoreal style it solves a lot of problems.

Yep. Nobody could do a better LA sidewalk death twitch.

They should cast Shia Leboof as Han, Lando, Luke, Wedge, and any other male under 25.
Just him, a green screen, and 2 million hours of digital manipulation should render an effectively soulless and artificial result to maintain the prequel's standards of crapulence.

:yess:

Ssssoooo... How about that Episode VII?

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I know this will sound a little crazy since he's somewhat infamous for the High School musical movies, but someone mentioned Zac Efron and I can really picture him as a young Han.

Not sure about his acting ability though, I don't think I've seen any of his movies.
