I suppose because the film was placed in the National Archives by the Library of Congress. Any change after that seems like a bastardization. We could go ahead and change the names of great works like The Declaration of Independence or the Mona Lisa I suppose...

I don't know how much weight that argument has. It's great that that happened, but that didn't suddenly strip Lucas of the rights and ownership of his films.

I was just having a goof, hence the I don't put much energy into too many things that are posted around these parts any more. Unless they're said by a friend or about a friend. Then I've been known to get all rowdy. But for the most part, this board is where I come to get away from the hassle of the real world. But, yes, I definitely prefer Star Wars to ANH...
