The final bit with the Falcon was awesome but the rest really had the feel of a fan film, especially the trooper at the start

Prequels > this teaser. They at least felt like Star Wars

No it felt like a JJ Abrams Film and for a year away film it was ok

I just saw the trailer and all it really did was give a visual feel of what this film will be. They showed alot more than I thought they would, I thought it was going to be a single image with a voice over, not a reel of shots from the film. Anyways totally pumped, this at least looks awesome, it's feels way more energetic and frantic in it's cinematography which is good, glad JJ is sticking to his style. Also loved the midevil looking light saber, not practical but it looks bad ass.

There were two things about the trailer I did not like:

1. Narration by Smaug. I am sick of Benedict Cumberbatch.
2. New-fangled lightsaber. Meh. Might like it better in the film.

Everything else screamed Star Wars to me, and overall I loved it!

I think with a teaser trailer you want to hype as much as you can without hyping it too much and I think this trailer accomplishes that.
