We almost never agree, but doesn't matter how much you hate the PT compared to your nostalgia filled love for the OT, calling them among the worst films to receive theatrical release is pretty dumb.
But it's the way of the internet to hyperbolize everything, you shouldn't make a big deal out of it, it's not like words mean anything anymore on the internet.
And, clickbait is the trend of geek journalism these days too.
Well, they are better than Battlefield Earth.

Actually, your comment above is totally an example of opinion, not fact. It is your opinion. You cannot "prove" empirically that the statement is false. Movies are subjective.

I'd like to add that the Prequels have been critiqued in an analytical, objective way to show that they are indeed "bad" movies. Red Letter Media does an excellent job of taking those movies apart and pointing out what doesn't work. And I really want to point out that it's not done with any bias. He criticizes it as if he were teaching a filmmaking class, which IMO is about the most fair way you can analyze a piece of pop culture.
That's not to say that people are not allowed to like something that's bad. I'm sure we all love at least one movie everyone else hates or that is considered crap. There are many (dozens!
) that enjoy the prequels and that's fine. They all responded viscerally to it and the movies came to them at just the right time. Nothing wrong with that.

Technically, films are subjective, so there's no such thing as facts when it comes to a film being "good" or "bad". It's all a matter of opinion, and opinions can change over time. There are plenty of films that were considered "bad", but then later generations and critics called them good. Personally, I think the prequels are garbage, but it's not a fact, just an opinion. The same applies to the article/"analysis"...it's just HIS opinion, if he says otherwise or claims it's a fact, then he's an idiot. However, it is a fact that most critics and the majority of SW fans prefer the OT.
Find someone who thinks all three PT movies are the worst to ever release. You can't. It is fact. Even some one like you don't believe they are. Every single PT hater actually likes parts of the film. Even you whether you admit it or or not.
I agree with Gasper about the clickbait.... most of his articles are just that. To bad he can't write anything real.

He's still not wrong if he thinks a film is the worst ever. If he says it's a fact then yes, he's wrong, but if it's his opinion...hey, that's how he feels. I'll ask you, in your opinion what is the worst movie ever? No matter what you say, there are some people who like that film, and they can say that you're wrong.
If you notice, its always the PT haters who bring this up..... isn't there a rule to where you can't constantly bash someones work.... like the PT gets bashed in every Star Wars thread....

Can't judge something until you have seen every single thing in the competition. In this case... can't call a movie the worst ever without seeing every other film....
