I imagine some of the KoR is who The Raid guys were hired to play? It'd be cool to see some hand to hand/non-lightsaber fights in the SW Universe.

All this build up- it's gotten TOO much great hype- that makes me think we are going to be severly disappointed..why I'm not falling into the buy buy buy all the merchandise(including HT) now before I see what we'll really get...caution on my part

best thing ever to read at this moment- and QUITE true SW fans..(like me) I have ALWAYS maintained ROTJ was garbage- hugely embarassing in many parts- but few listened. It's like it was made in a different universe from the first two- something really went wrong.
TFA has gotta be better than the last FOUR...
I guess I was too young to see ROTJ the way some older fans see it....but I have 2 brothers of 37 and 41 and I don't think they have a big problem with ROTJ. They probably could have done without the ewoks but other than that they've never complained about the other points raised in that article.
Personally I still think it's 3:3 (good:crap). The Force Awakens has an opportunity to put the ''good'' back in front again.

It's all subjective of course but really- can anyone defend the dozens of horrible scenes in the PT ..AOTC "love" scenes- so bad a 10 year old's school play could have been more convincing? ROTJ is "cool" because it's part of that '80's vibe "still part of the original films"..etc.. Even when I was young and saw it I was underwhelmed after thinking the first two were the greatest things since pizza...
TFA will deliver in many ways but not so sure it will be enduring..or just a jump start on many future attempts at a SW film we will be getting in years to come...

ROTJ was the only one I saw at the cinema.
I remember those as exciting days, from the first pictures that appeared in newspapers. I was on holiday in France at the time and my dad had picked up an English language paper. And there in the movie section was a photo of an evil looking creature called 'Bib Fortuna' !
Later, Debenhams the department store had built a big Star Wars themed toy section that you could walk into. Over the doorway a TV was continually playing video highlights from the film. One day Darth Vader himself came to Debenhams to do a signing.
It really was Darth Vader, because he signed himself as such. So presumably just a guy in a suit and not Dave Prowse.
