The battle droids and super battle droids had great designs and looked cool, but they all sounded retarded and lame. I remember seeing the preview for TPM and thinking that army of ant-like droids folding in the fields and those new speeder bikes was awesome . . . then I heard them talk.

On the flip side of that, Stormtroopers aren't much better. They look and sound great (in the first two movies anyway) but they're really goofy and not intimidating. They're worse in each subsequent film.


The ESB Snowtroopers, ROTS clonetroopers, and RO death troopers are the only effective grunts in my opinion.
