Don't forget about me. Remember, I want details :)

Not sure why you want details but OK.... I shall ruin it just for you.

Let me start now before I even see it: Kylo is angry because he's being pushed aside, Rey trains hard but isn't prepared for Snoke's offer-of-a-lifetime, Luke is reluctant but finally comes around, and the movie ends without revealing much at all except more questions... to be saved for Episode 9.

so I was thinking about the comment where they said the meaning of the last Jedi changes throughout the film. Luke is obviously at the start, and Rey I guess could be seen as it after. But if Kylo is turning good as it's pretty much confirmed at this point wouldn't he count too? He's been trained and everything.

I think Luke bites it - and then Reylo are the last jedi

On a side note Hamill was making more comments a couple days ago saying they should have followed Lucas vision for the films and they're far different from what we're getting.

He also stated the obvious with some of the plot decisions and over saturation of Star Wars:

:lol

Gotta love Mark!

This better than Affleck scandals- Hamill better be careful but he's clearly upset about something!

Kristian Harloff is a lifelong fan, trusty movie critic who agrees with most on the many flaws of TFA, and he has the biggest Star Wars show on YouTube (Jedi Council).

I'll take his opinion over that guy's.

Not to mention most reactions point out the fact that it's a truly different and unexpected SW movie.

Let's also not forget that these types of movies are always going to share similarities in terms of structure and plot points, just like movies from Marvel or DC, that's just how it is. They aren't trying to reinvent Star Wars, it's a continuation of the story.

:gah:

Thank you :)

I don’t know about you guys but movies like this make me overspend in concessions and with good reason, pizza, beer, popcorn, royale with cheese, all worth it

I don't think any of these Twitter reactions mean anything. TFA was universally lauded for months by *everyone* (and with a high 90s tomato score) until some switch flipped and people realized how dumb it really was. I expect the same love affair her and the films real flawed be recognized a few months down the road. I personally don't think it'll be a remake - but I feel Rian is going to leave a big stamp and perhaps change the nature of everything that came before. And that itself might prove a huge flaw in the long run. Hoping for the best let's see.

I've been reading ALLEGED spoilers on reddit. Nobody can seem to agree if they're real or not.

It definitely seems like Snikt is in for a rude awakening though.

OK, but remember these are most likely just dumb idiots on reddit making stuff up. But then again, almost every dumb spoiler I've read about SW since Ep II ended up being true...so I don't know. Don't blame me, I'm literally just cutting and pasting.

Rey is literally a nobody. Her parents are supposedly random junkers.

-Yoda talks to Luke and convinces him along with a hologram from R2 of Leia’s message to obi-wan to train Rey.

-Benecio Del Toro’s character is literally a nobody who Phasma kills.

-Finn defeats Phasma and Phasma falls to her death.

-Kylo cuts Snoke in half for trying to torture Rey.

-Kylo is intrigued by Rey and tries to offer her a position at his side (maybe as lovers?) and Rey turns him down.

-Kylo and Luke dual.

The twist: Luke is still on the island and is projecting his image across the galaxy to fight Kylo. Luke expends too much Force energy and “dies” which is ambiguous.

I am absolutely not vouching for this....it's just what's making "the rounds."

Those sound fake as hell :lol

If it's real....then...:rotfl:rotfl

I’m not speculating anything , until actual people in this thread that have seen it start posting spoilers :lol

Ive read about the last twist outside of reddit.
I think the last twist you wrote is real

Thats why Mark Hamill was always so pissed off and bitter when he did interviews

Just read the full spoiler descriptions of the plot over at RPF.

Ugh.:slap:(

The only reason that Luke was involved in this new Disney Sequel was to drag old SW fans coming for the movie. Ive watched several of his interviews apparently KK has promised him many things yet turn out he dindt expect his appearance in TFA was sort of 30s or something... so I expect his fate would be same in TLJ.

Disney clear intention was to purge old Lucas legacy and build their own SW universe and target new audience (KK did mention new SW is not clearly for the old fanbase - which majority is male anymore). So I could see the path that Disney and Kk is going now :).

What makes me kind of sad is that there really was no reason we couldn't have had new SW movies with a badass older Luke as the lead, and Han in the mix. Liam Neeson style.

It's this myth that SW is for kids I guess, and studios have to have that "passing of the torch" bs. Kind of like Harrison to Shia LaBeef, or in a different way, Bill Murray to Melissa McCarthy.

SW certainly was for kids... in the 1970's and 80's.
