Its already been confirmed that Rey is not Han or Luke's daughter. Abrams stated her parents were not present in TFA.

Yet Daisy Ridley thought it was "obvious" whose daughter she was. Sometimes the truth is right in front of us. KK did say SW was about three generations of the Skywalker family after all (though she may have been referring to Kylo).

So this makes the fourth SW title that requires knowledge of the saga (Sith, Jedi, Force etc). Fifth if you count Empire. Further evidence of how pervasive the franchise has become.

I'm aware of that.

I got one better.....Luke is not "The Last Jedi" .....The Last Jedi has not been reveled.

WTF is a Grey Jedi

They are the desired type of Force user that The Whills wanted to inhabit the galaxy. One that wouldn't fear the Dark Side and could practice both Light and Dark without being consumed by either one. Anakin Skywalker was the first. He was naturally drawn to the Light but excelled when embracing the Dark.

Rey and Kylo are the same.

Abrams clarified that statement shortly after.

"“What I meant was that she doesn’t discover them in Episode VII. Not that they may not already be in her world.”

So everyone is still on the table.

You got part of it right.....Rey and Kylo are the same.....there are always 2.....you want me to spoil it for you. I don't want to get in trouble, but the pieces are falling together.....We got the title and the number 2 everywhere.

In TFA Snoke directly referred to Luke as the Last Jedi, right before asking Kylo if he felt the awakening. I don't know anything about Gray Jedi, but the idea of Rey being something other than a Jedi, something new, would support Luke as the "last".

Luke is Sith

The OMG...WTF...Moment.....Rey goes up to Luke...pulls out his Lightsaber and kills him with it....(Sucks Luke is only in the new movies for 5mins.)

Rey & Kylo are sith......The Last Jedi will then Revel himself....Luke Apprentice....

Alternate truth won't work here.

As stated earlier the title is a reminder of how much hasn't happened (or has been undone) since ROTJ. Leia never became a Jedi, Han went back to smuggling, Luke started a new order but that didn't last.

On the upside, the ST has more hiding out in backwater worlds for the OT purists.

Take that!
