$2500 isn't bad for that. It comes with an alien bug thingy and everything.

:rotfl

this really is for someone who has more money than sense. why get this when you can get a custom that is far better for about the same price? SS really needs to rethink their strategy. How can yoda cost more than Doom or iron man? It truly is bewildering.

Yeah spare us of the stupid bug thing... That's probably at least $300 of the cost lol. I am all for investigating custom options.

Should've been $2000 max.

And a different head pose. That tilt makes no sense and from the side, it looks like he's about to sit down. You gotta display him up high to get a good look at him and you shouldnt have to do that.

I guess my search for a life-size Yoda continues :(

Me too! Such a shame. I had high hopes for this one for a long time.

It's just very odd to me that SS would pose the head like that. It's clearly known he's a small character and with the head like that, it severely limits the display options. You can't hinder the display options and charge that kind of money and expect it to be well received. Bad form, SS.

I think I'm in for this. I agree with the head pose though, it should be similar at least to Gino's...but I can't have Gino's version so this will do.

Sideshow strikes again with their lame pose choice. :slap

The price is clearly too high but what really concerns me is what it says about the price they will put on the Vader 1:1.

Pffft 2.5K?! This is like the scalpers on fleabay who put stuff so ridiculously high for months that some idiot stumbles along and thinks they have a bargain:lol

Aside from the angle of the neck I like it alot and I'm still down for this. I tend to display my collectibles up off the floor anyway. I don't take chances having a little dog around. Sideshow is notourious for taking less than flattering photos of their products too so I have a feeling this is going to look even better in person.

Why does Sideshow insist on posing every character around so they're smelling their own farts?

That price tag is hefty man. Yeah shouldn't have cost more than any of their LSFs (Legendary Scale). I too am scared about what this means for Vader. I'm still expecting the 7.5k that Boba Fett went for as the standard

i think it looks pretty good myself. i do think 2500 is a bit high for what you get....but i dunno, i'm seriously considering this still. i've always wanted a lifesize yoda and this looks pretty amazing to me. what to do what to do.......

What a strange choice of pose for the head. Unless you have him displayed high up, you're not going to see his face very well because of the head being tilted down so much. Looks really awkward. Yoda displays look far better with him looking slightly upwards as he did when he was talking to Luke.

For the price they're charging, they should have used acrylic eyes for extra realism too. The painted eyes just make it look more fake in my opinion.

On the positive side, the robes look really well done and nicely weathered / distressed.

I had a Cyberman Yoda too (same as the one Gino used). Mine was put together by Tom Spina (and it was painted to match the colour of an authentic Yoda hand that Tom was commissioned to repair).

I'm pretty sure you can get a better-posed Yoda and probably more accurate from someone over at the RPF. If that's what you're looking for. I like this one, I just wish his head was in a better position.

Yes cyberman and I worked on the head hands and feet sculpts together (he did the sculpting while I provided art direction).
I did all the rest. I had the eyes created, made the body and limbs, teeth, the accessories, all the paintwork, hair punching, and clothes.

I don't make them for sale unfortunately.
Just this one for myself which is a one of a kind.

This yoda is one that I would buy if I came across a bunch of money.
It is wonderful
