Thought I'd bump this up again since it looks like we MAY be getting more definitive news about its release in the next few days. :wink1:

Oh man I hope so!! I am so terrified of what the price point will be. The insane asking price of the carbonite Han makes me apprehensive.

I still maintain that it will be $3000. I'd put money on it...but not too much or I'll never be able to afford this.

We still don't know what the base will look like or the kinds of accessories it will come with, so definitely keep that in mind.
Having said that, it looks like it could be right around there at the $3K point.

I'm hoping it will be $1500 or less or I'll likely have to pass, even though I would love to have it. I don't understand how this could be anywhere near 3K when the Doom LSF is $2000 and it's 50 inches tall!

Because SS.... that's why

As cool as Sideshow will make this, they will bilk us for all they can.

my guess is open edition - they will want to make this available for years.

Given the shocking price for carbonite fett, this will definatley be a no-go for me. I was hoping to replace the (very good) esb yoda I already have. I really like the more elaborate base the SS version has. But no way will I fork over $3-4k for it.

Wouldnt make any sense at all if this was more than any of the LSFs really . Where are the life size jawas though! I've been waiting forever for SS to make one.

I say they try to get at least $4500

yes, i agree. it is insane these prices. salacious crumb was only $350 and that character is roughly the same size as yoda. no way yoda should be over $1000 even with the detailed base forthe statue.
