I couldn't get through SG-1 or Stargate Atlantis, in which I bought the complete series. I hate the cheesy humor, just felt it was made for 5 yr olds. But I love the original movie, wish I could get into these series.

Why would you buy the complete series if you have never seen it?

got the complete series of Atlantis also and really like that series, still have to watch season 5 though as i just got it a couple days ago.

as for Universe i'm hooked also and even though it has alot of ideas from BSG (which isn't a bad thing, since BSG is/was the best thing on TV the decade) i think it has aLOT of potential.

great to hear it's coming out already.

I never finished Atlantis, there were a couple episodes that really sucked and then they had one of those episodes where they found an excuse to replay a bunch of clips from previous episodes and act like there was a storyline so they could save money. That's when I stopped watching.

yeah i hate that when they do that, i think it's when a holiday is coming that they do them type of episodes. that way everyone gets to go home early instead of shooting all week long.
i recall that episode and i really didn't watch it, but still kept watching the series.
i hope season 5 is somewhat good

I thought last night's episode was good. It took me a little while to remember what had been going on since I have been watching so much Stargate Atlantis lately.

Finally learned the very interesting mission of the Destiny..

And now i'm angry, and want to cry.

I guess it's good that I at least care about the characters. If it was a crappy show, i just could care less. But yeah.. next week is gonna make me depressed, that is for sure.

You had to know that Tea-bag was going to screw things up and kill someone. I'm just glad it wasn't Greer.....poor Eli finally pops his cherry, Rush gets a taste via the stones, and then it's all over.....I'm wondering how Tea-bag got away from his "escort."

Aww man, I clearly missed a pretty spectacular ending due to the stupid DVR not recording it. Gonna have to rewatch it on demand when it is available.

I enjoyed what I saw of this episode though. Some of the previous episodes in the season have been less than thrilling to me though.

That keno footage at the end was pretty interesting.
I hope the writers of this series have a plan like BSG did with a set expiration date. It certainly seems they do and makes for better television.

December 16, 2010 - The Stargate saga looks to be coming to an end for now. Deadline reports that Syfy has cancelled Stargate Universe and won't be renewing the series for a third season. The show still has ten episode left for Season 2, which will air in the spring.
