fridays show was good.i hope this is not a spoiler. but did anyone who saw the last episode realize at the end they were not alone. when the ship jumped back int to orbit another small ship took off.

Those two that went through the gate and were left behind got the s***y end of the stick.

But who knows maybe they'll turn up again later.

I was wondering about that shuttle myself...at first I thought it was just the ship falling apart. :lol

Go to page 7 guy's theres a ongoing topic of discission, then tell us what you think I'm interested

:lol NP, Bro!

The shuttle "failsafe" scenerio could be possible. I agree with Agent0028 that those two that went through the gate made their choice and now have to live, or die, with the consequences.

It's farfetched but I was wondering if maybe there might be one of those aliens that attacked the base, in the first episode, aboard the ship?

The ships that attacked the Base looked like Taree or Goauld but they did not want them to dial in the gate for some reason

I thought Sam said who it was attacking the base. Something about the *whatever* federation. I recognized the name at the time but I can't remember it now.

The ships that attacked the base were from the Lucian Alliance (or so they think). Remember, that was the group of smuggler/thieves that usurped some of the Go'uld ships and power as they were falling.

As for the ship that took off at the end, I think it was part of the ship, but as to why it launched is beyond me.

A quick question to leave, if the ship sent to pod out of a failsafe, how would the ship know that the 3 people went to another stargate from the desert planet??? They didn't go to that other planet through the ship did they????

I don't know how they would work it out, but I think it would be cool if sometime down the road they're enemies.

Hmm, a Wraith of Khan type scenario.

It could have something to do with the dialing device. Didn't the dialing device come from the ship? Maybe it's all connected: if another planet is dialed from the dialing device and that planet does NOT dial the ship then a "rescue/fail safe" pod is deployed.

Since the ship can arrive at a planet and instantly analyze what planets are like and which one has what the crew need, I think it'd be able to monitor the links between the stargates within the solar system or galaxy as well. That the remote DHD has something to do with it is a good theory too.

Another question, there was a stargate already on the desert planet, so would it be safe to assume that a Destiny-type ship had already gone through that region of space....???

I thought the Destiny is the one following the ship that is seeding the universe with Stargates.

yeah several ships were launched ahead of the Destiny to seed the universe with gates. i just finished watching the first couple episodes on hulu. pretty good set up to a series. it's different. i'll probably stick with it through the first season to see what they are trying to do with the show. i really don't like the first season of SG-1 till the last 5 episodes either so we'll see if this show starts picking up steam like SG1 did.

The Destiny was blocking other Stargates from being dialed, those three people found a way around the block and dialed to one of those blocked gates. I'm sure once they did this the ship would know what they did and where they went.

That's what I thought as well. So THIS ship is following another ship through space??? Going to have to watch it again, don't quite get that. And I'm wondering why THIS ship doesn't use the ATA gene readers that we normally see on Ancienty stuff. Perhaps it was built before they adopted that type of technology.

Man, this show has raised a lot of questions. I hope they do expand on the mythology of the show and don't have each episode about people hating each other and trying to survive to the next hour.

I don't get why this ship is following the seed ship either. My guess is that its one of the mysteries of the show. I'm not sure if the characters even know they are following another ship planting stargates.

My guess is that this is pre ATA gene technology. IIRC this ship is pre-Atlantis so that is a possibility.
