On a side note I think it would be funny if you can't change the bulbs when they go bad..

I doubt they will burn out for a while. They probably used LEDs which last almost forever.

The "bulbs" are LEDs. LEDs typically have a lifespan of 100,000 hours (and that is how long it takes on average for them to go dim, not out). So, I would think it is safe to assume that they will outlive most of their owners, unless they leave it turned on 24/7.

For those who are getting theirs today, what was your order time? I placed mine on 2007-08-09 17:07:11, but mine still shows "order placed".

I would imagine the Comic Con orders will go first and then they'll move into the websites. I had this sent to work, my only worry is that it'll ship tomorrow and not be projected to get here until Saturday which means FedEx will hold until Monday because its a business delivery.

My wife was at home waiting for the FedEx delivery, and when she heard the knock she went running straight to the door only to to see him already driving away when she opened it. I really wish Sideshow would update the signature policy. I can understand it in this case. Not for all the Hot Toys and medicom stuff though. I guess though if they keep raising the prices we will soon have to sign for everything.

Makes you leery ordering things and have them sent via a courier. Oh well, for every incompetent video we get like these ones, there are many more competent employees of FedEx and UPS that take care of our stuff.

There are good and bad workers in every field or job. So why should the courier business be any different?
