Anyone catch the Colbert Report last night? He did a lightsaber routine in front of a green-screen and then did a Jar Jar impression. Great stuff! I hope it shows up on YouTube.

I'm going to have to download this one from iTunes. I had a multi-pass (or whatever they call it) for several episodes, but it ran out and I haven't renewed it yet. But I can just download last night's show all by itself.

Y'know, I think Stephen Colbert is funny, but I didn't much care for the SW spoofing. Watching people poke fun at SW by doing ridiculous Hasbro lightsaber antics...it's gotten so old and cliched. It's almost embarrassing to watch.

Now, his segment "The Word"...that's frickin' hilarious!!! :lol :lol

Actually I thought he was doing a Star Wars Kid spoof and not specifically making fun of Star Wars.
I never miss a Colbert or Daily Show episode. I've been watching the Daily Show since the other guy.

And Stephen Colbert is apparently a die hard LOTR fan, and I think former D&D player. So if he pokes fun of Star Wars, it's probably with some bit of geek affection for the material and the fans.

I did, George doesn't have much of a personality... but it was still pretty cool. And the cartoon with the Dinosaur in space was classic! Who expects a Dinosaur in Space!?!

didnt care for colbert on his own at first but man has it grown on me i love it now.Theres a whole bunch of SW deals ppl have been makin now on youtube with colbert.(I don't even really need a tv anymore:rotfl )
