Got Olympic version yesterday. Both head sculpts have paint issues :(

Arggh , why would you guys pick up a figure that
is going to fall apart ? Maybe you guys are willing
to fix it I guess

I guess the hope is keeping the figure in a static/museum pose, we can avoid the joint issues. Although it might be inevitable that the rubber body could degrade even without posing.

In my case, I'm keeping them due to the lack of a better Tyson alternative. I know that Storm made a previous Tyson but that's not the Young Tyson and that sculpt pales in comparison to this new one. Maybe Storm or someone else will make a better Tyson figure down the road, but maybe not.

As a big Tyson fan, I'm kind of stuck in a rock and a hard place.

I think similarly for every character I want on my shelf. If Storm Collectibles made a WWE The Rock figure, Bruce Lee, or Ali, with the same type of body issues, but the head sculpt & anatomy was on point, pre ordering it wouldn't be an issue for me. I'd rather have them in my collection (for however long they last :lol), than not I think.
Lighting glare I guess.

So... I got my regular Tyson today. I am honestly disappointed with the figure. Not sure if it is a keeper for me and how it affects my Hogan order. I will let him rest for 2-3 days before my final decision and will also wait a little before posting a small review here. But I can already say that I do not regret my purchase, but was expecting more fir the money I have paid.

Can't wait for your review.

What are you disappointed about? I'm happy with mine. The HS is spot on and seamless joints are nice. The wire thing doesn't bother me a bit.

As I knew about the body issues, I couldnt care less. I have another body comming that will be put aside if a modofication is needed later. I will let it rest until Saturday and than do some pics and description over the weekend. :)

Maybe this one will have an officially licensed belt (or belts)?

I already have the regular & Olympic figures, so it would need something special to get me buying yet another SC Tyson figure. A licensed belt alone won't do that for me I think. Maybe throw in a couple different (same quality or better) sculpts & I might think about it. Adding a jointed body is too much of a stretch maybe?

Or maybe a newer body? Extra tattoos at the time or changes to the body. Def need some new sculpts though.

I'll see if I can dig up some info. Haha
