:lol Not really. I purchased 2 spare bodies already + the one included in the set when I get it, so that's 3 bodies. So why not. I'll still have 2 boring arms down figures :lol

Your posts sometimes seem more like you work for Storm than just being their number 1 fan.

Yeah I get that alot.

Ive said this a million times in many threads that although I have met the Storm guys and spoken to them about their projects etc, plus helped others in finding the latest info from them. I do not work for them. Period.

I have always talk good and bad about everything and anything I buy and own from these 1/6 companies. The only figure I have from Storm is the Tyson one because I really like it. I dont have any other figures from their catalogue. No previous released Tysons, no Hulk etc. I know a lot about their good and bad stuff.

Though I have ordered their Bruce Lee mini statues coming in Q2. Plus have genuine interests in their upcoming Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter products.
Is it because Im the only one that can voice out with much info directly from Storm that makes me their number 1 fan? I voice out just as much info for Threezero stuff too, SHF/Figma etc etc am I their number 1 fan as well?

What exactly is your point in your reply? Is it good or is it bad? It doesnt read like a compliment if I was to think negatively about it.

What I stated were facts about buying and using rubber bodies. I have followed this thread as well as that ''other'' thread that shown this problem, and noticed many users just dont have a clue about using these bodies. Many of them treat them like a 6 inch SHF/Figma figure and go all out on them and expect them to retract back normal? The original poster only posted the picture and does not explain how the whole thing happened at all and everyone started to jump into their own conclusion. You cant have best of both worlds where you get perfect articulation and seamless bodies. Not yet that is.

Im just being neutral and stated that this happens if care is not taken into. I myself have plenty of rubber bodies and I keep them in museum poses as Im also afraid this thing will happen to my collection. Plus like I said, warnings were verbally given at the time of pick up of the figure. Exchanges were also given to customers too.

Now if I didnt say those above, would you have known about it? Am I a EXCLUSIVE no 1 fan to Storm only?
Maybe I should just dont say anything about Storm products from now on.

I'll stop ranting because any conversation can go in any direction. If you feel this way then so be it. I'll just take your comment as sarcasm.

im gonna assume that whoever had that one with the tears was not careful with it at all and manhandled it roughly with no regard for care and if we are careful with ours and not rough all will be fine..

cuz thats what i want to believe :rotfl

+1 salute for Lawrence

the peekaboo stance/pose was pretty much exactly what i wanted to do with it. when i think Tyson i think of that and the dempsey roll bobbing and weaving.

imagine how good a SHF Tyson would be? the Bruce Lee looks dope.

chockles can you ask storm to view that thread? curious as to what they would say seeing that.

I really do look forward to how you guys experiment with these bodies and other types of bodies with the Tyson headsculpts. Fingers cross for you all.

Would love a SHF Tyson, that would be epic. Plus I cant wait to get the SHF Bruce Lee too. It has been looking good so far.

I will ping them a message once I see a few more peoples comments on the other thread as well. It seems to have side tracked off to something else and the original poster still havent commented back on it.

I agree it wont hurt to see how they would react to this now though I cant guarantee what they tell me would be true or not or even if they will answer me, but I'll try. I'll wait until the weekend is over and the noise and reactions have settled down first.

thks Chockles! :hi5:

arrived today via MOAF. looks amazing. cold out and box was cold, even body inside was abit cold so will leave it for a few hours or so before i get it all set up.

How is yours? Any pictures?

I went & watched a few video reviews (I wanted to see if others managed a Peekaboo stance), & one of the videos I watched on YouTube had comments posted saying something about pics showing splits/tears on the rubber body, right out of the box. Ouch.

Hey guys,

I got in touch with Storm about the 'split issue' found in the 'other' thread' and got a response from them.

The thread where the issue originated from:-
?????????? - 12??? - Toysdaily ???? - Powered by Discuz!

Before I start, I just want to say I do not work for them! I could easily not say anything in here if I wanted to. You can decide for yourself if you believe this is true or not. I have nothing to lose apart from time and effort in typing all this.

Anyhows, what I did today was forward them the original link and told them that overseas collectors had some concerns with this issue. I did not add anything else, no opinions or emotions from myself.

I quickly got a couple of voice messages response within minutes. All in cantonese of course.
Basically the response was about that thread. They told me they were expecting this to happen a day before the post was created.

Reason behind this story from the guys at Storm was an act of anger and despite. Apparently among both parties, there were some disagreement about stock/orders etc. Storm didnt go into details and I didnt ask any further. Its a case of the poster demanded stock from Storm and they had their reasons not to provide. So im not saying who is right or wrong or what is true or not. Only they would know.

So as you know when things get out of control, people react by exposing stuff that could hurt the other party, if this story holds true that is.
Thats it really. Storm said they had no concerns for this person and wont do anything about it.

So that is the response I got. All I can say is time will tell how things turn out for this body. I hope this story is what it is and everyones figures are fine. As always just take extra care with seamless bodies.

Hey Lawrence, would you mind posting that video in here. Im interested to watch this.

Its always the same. There is one idiot posting his damaged stuff all over the internet instead of contacting his seller. If that did not work out for him I would have contacted Storm personally. Pretty sure - they seem to be collectors theirselve - they are people you can talk to and get a replacement.
Flaws/defects like this (broken bodies) do happen. The more complex a mass produced item is, the higher is the chance to have deffects in the production. Usually this is no big deal as companies calculate with it. A single broken body is no issue in my eyes. As long as we do not habe a second Hot Toys DX02 desaster, I am sure Storm can handle it.
Summed up: No need to confront them with any critiques just because of a single incident. Better try to keep the good vibes arriving them. :)

It's in the comments section of TheClipperKing YouTube review.

This is one figure I have put on and taken off Pre-Order about 3 times, I almost took it off a few days ago when I seen someone's unboxing photos and the figure has a tear in the rubber on the back and on the calf along with paint rubs, yours however looks perfect so I guess it will be a crap shoot. I really want it and at this point in time seeing your review I'm still on board, it looks fantastic but seeing as I got the standard version its a bit disappointing I will have to deal with the sculpted boots and gloves though missing out on the crappy belt is no big deal.

+TheSkullReviews I've done the same by canceling and reordering and finally canceling again. I must say that I am kicking myself for not keeping my PO, but at the same time, the bodies that have slits in them straight out of the box is a major turnoff.

If what they meant was the unboxing pictures I posted on page 82/83 in this thread then THEY ARE WRONG.

I have already explained that those marks were dusts in my crappy iphone lens. I have since replaced my camera now and there wont be any marks in the photos. If you match all those photos up, you can clearly see the dust marks appear at the same spot in every photo.

Again, more people jumping into conclusions without even asking or do a bit more researching.

Really? I could go to page 82/83 to reconfirm my insecurities and go cancel then pre-order the figure again a bunch of times.

If only I didn't already get this weeks ago.... damn.. missed out on the panic and fun.

Just had a look at page 82 and 83, and you are correct. The dust is seen in the exact same place on your photos. Those guys missed out on an incredible figure because of some dust on a camera lol

A Little Story for those worried about Tyson Body:

The Mike Tyson Toy Soul version I received had paint rubs due to the body not being protected against the foam in the packaging. With the Help of Chockles, I was able to get a replacement body. Knowing I was sending damaged body back, I abused the Hell out of the body.:lol Peek a Boo posing. Bent legs in different angles Etc. No rips or tears on the body.

Follow these instruction and you will be fine:welcome1:
