They mushed it on his belt area that I had to wipe it out in one section. Aside from that it's quite nice. I got the MKII mask on, but I like the other one more.

I got MK 1-3 on Genesis and UMK3 on ds.

I used to rent UMK3 for Genesis every weekend for months when I was a kid. I never did buy my own copy. :(

Regarding Scorpion, well, I've decided that I'm not going to purchase any figures from this line until I get my cyborgs. In other words, the potential paint issue doesn't bother me any (provided it's absent on the cyborgs, of course). I'm sorry to hear about yours, though, Plissken. Hopefully it isn't a widespread issue and won't be present on other second-run figures of Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

Crappy iPhone pics.

I gave him his MKII fighting stance.

The bottom fold had a lot of gunk in it and I wiped it out with a toothpick. Now I feel like I shouldn't of...

The two Hellspawns.

It looks great. The part you rubbed off doesn't look bad or out of place, it was probably just wet solvent, I can still see a little bit of it on the little black knot on the belt, but it will probably dry off on its own.

I might try to clean it up a bit more. Aside from the paint issue, it's great. I might swap the mask out. Something about the minimalist mask is more appealing to me.

Oh and please, shut up about the rubber :lol it's not going to rot. I'd be more worried about swapping the hands and breaking the wrist pegs. They should of given us extras.

Goddamn, that's a nice figure. I can hardly discern the paint issue and it looks pretty normal; I wouldn't worry about it.

I like the MK1 mask better, too, even if the rest of the costume is more specific to MK2 (well, the little rope around his belt is).

Cool pics, Snake!
Cartoony arms is the only thing that ruins these ninja figures for me.

Damn he does look good. Your "crappy" iphone pics actually make him look REALLY good :lol

Thanks, fellas. The paint issue was more prominent before I wiped it out. It looks better now and I don't think it's worth trying to get another one. Gaspar noticed the blobs of paint around his waist tie that now is bugging me :lol I didn't notice it before.

Here's my setup right now, that'll I will probably stick with for awhile.

It's definitely a line worth getting into. The body is nice and well articulated but hampered by his yellow gi shirt thing. It's basically a 1/6 HT body.

I was going to try putting the skull head on, but I'd have to hear it first since it wasn't cooperating and I didn't want to force it.

Steve Richie is always Shao Kahn's voice whenever I think of him.

All his taunts were great in MKII-Trilogy. "You will never win!" "Wahahahahah!"

Ditto.

I also liked Brian Thompson as Shao Kahn. I realize that I'm, like, the only person who likes Annihilation but whatever. :lol

I've always preferred MKIII Jax... but if they're going to keep doing MKII... they gotta do that version first.

Whenever I think of Jax, I think of his metal arms and upper back.
