Yeah I should of been clearer, XL was what I was going to get. I actually don't mind Sub Zero's outfit, I just think his mask sucks.

Sub-Zero's best outfit in MKX is Revenant, you get it for completin' Test Your Might tower.
Klassic costume is unlocked TBW for XL.

Is it worth the $30? I mean, I've played and owned every other MK at one point or another.

The only two characters I thought were worth a damn of the PS2 series was Kenshi and Frost, the rest was garbage.

I actually want to get into Deadly Alliance and specifically Deception again since the Konquest mode was excellent. There was so much content in Deception.

Mmm... I wouldn't get it for so much but then again I'm VERY chary when it comes to VG.
If you want to play online then get it while it's still alive.

He plays almost no part in the story, BTW.
The whole puke-n-fart thing doesn't bother me much because he's from Outworld.
He's less cheesy now and more like a character from Chinese martial arts action comedies, which I love. I can easily imagine Sammo Hung playin' him in live action.

The online never interested me. I tried that with MK9... once... and never bothered again

I'm bummed Shao Kahn is "dead" in it. But that **** never lasts, with anyone.

Kotal Kahn is an ok stand-in for Shao.
I actually like his story line, comic books included.

I've been playing through Mythologies on the PS1 lately I know you hate that game, and I don't necessarily hate it... I fully recognize now after nearly 20 years of not playing it that it's god awful and the platforming in it is so drab and boring, and the monk AI is incredibly overpowered that many moves just don't work and they counter everything.

It had some good music in it. But the levels can be very confusing. No map makes it a real chore to play. Especially the sewer level.

He's just a boring and terrible looking reskin of Shang Tsung.
Plus the superboss copypast crap from MKvsDCU.

Because of him Quan Chi, one of my favorites, is now dead...

Quan Chi was awesome indeed, it was exactly like this in MK4, Shinnock was the "main" baddie and Quan Chi was the puppet master.
