I've started wondering if a lot of collectibles are worth the rising costs. Saw a NECA cartoon TMNT 4 pack at Target earlier for $150. These prices are getting absurd, those figures should be $15-20 each.

would be worth it if the quality was up to snuff, but they just keep charging double while halving the quality. It's beginning to be like play arts kai, but worse.

Only ones I regret missing is the original Reptile, Raiden and the Event Excluisve Scorpion.

Saw that with Noob, glad I got it for cheap when I did but would consider a trade for either of those three

I'd love to help, man. But I need my Raiden and Reptile, cause they're essential cast.
I also don't know which Scorpion that is. The new MK11 classic? If so? I got the original and I'm set.^^

Don't really care about the unmasked SZ and I really only need one cyber ninja, so Sektor wasn't a must have for me (from what I hear he also had a paint defect that happened over time). Also kinda meh on Motaro.

So the only ones I need to get now that have already been announced are Kintaro, Liu and Kano....and Johnny Cage if he ever gets released.

I had MK3 Scorpion and Unmask SZ, but strictly for a review. Hate it, MK3 Scorp. Horrible figure, IMO, and not my Scorpion. But that SZ was alright.

I got OG SZ, Sc and Re, Raiden, Kung Lao, Baraka, Kahn, Motaro, Goro, Smoke, Human Smoke, Ermac (my first Storm, together with Shin Akuma), Rain, Cyrax, Sektor.

Can't wait for Kintaro, Liu and the inevitable females, and Johnny.

I could be wrong, but I think there’s no way that’s included. That’s a fully articulated giant dragon. It’s over a foot of plastic. It warrants its own price.

… and I kind of want the dragon more than the Liu Kang figure, honestly.

We already know, at least $250. They jumped straight to HT pricing, even as I grumble at the lack of accessories and alt head sculpts.

Not defending the pricing but Hot Toys pricing has jumped up the past couple of years to where $300-ish is the norm for a regular figure.

Seems like competitors in the 1/6 market are just pricing it slightly below hot toys. 1/6 scale figures are just getting super expensive.

KABAL! So cool! Will definitely be getting him, Kano and Liu whenever he's released...and maybe Kitana. If these were cheaper I'd probably get them all, but can only afford the must haves. And which version of Shao Kahn is that from? The newest MK? Don't really care since I already have the MK 2 version.

Still need to get Kintaro, though. Oh yeah, AND WHERE IS JOHNNY???!!! Unbelievable that all we've seen from him was that tease years ago.

Those joints are ugly, but the outfit as a whole looks pretty nice, at least from the promotional photos.

the paint apps on this look decent here, almost 250$ worth and it has soem accessories, step in the right direction.
