Damn, I really like the look of these. I've resisted all previous MK merchandise on the basis of it being a bit crap, but these really hit the spot.

I don't think anyone knows yet. I am guessing blood splatter on their clothes? & other accessories for the $15 price difference.

Probably just color/paint variance. The mark up is BBTS just being their usual scalper minded opportunistic selves. At a one to seven ratio they can ask whatever they want for the variants. Might be blood spatter, might be player 2 colors, might be an ice or fire translucent color variant. Who knows?

I googled "Mortal Kombat 1 Scorpion" & this is the second image that came up. According to the website this is his video game appearance in MK2 w/ the rope around the waist.

I don't know what to do about these though, since Mezco said they'll be doing MK Klassic in ONE:12. and they'll probably gonna be like $75.

I'd much rather wait for those but I still kinda want these.

Yea I never noticed the rope around the waist at all. I can def see them making Reptile w/ a simple repaint. I would love to see MK3 Sub-zero which If I remember correctly was actually his younger brother. Sonya & some of the other female characters would be nice too.

Yeah MK3 was the start of the younger brother being in the games. I'd love for them to do MK1-3 figures, even though I only prefer the lore of the first two games.
