Looking very nice. I love having the chance of owning a 1/6 figure of Tony Jaa.
The one thing I really hope that Storm Toys doesn't hold back on is articulation. Jaa's hallmark is his high level athleticism. An articulated figure depicting him/one of his characters must be highly poseable.

For figures with less clothing, I prefer a balance between articulation & aesthetically pleasing. I think they went that route with the upper body, which I like. Single piece torso, & no double jointed elbows. Might not be able to get it in some of those elbow strike poses, since it seems like they might be only meant to bend around 90 degrees, but I think there are a bunch of other poses it can get into.
The figure itself looks alright, but I'm not super excited for it for some reason. This looks like it might be a "if I have some spare money I might get it" kind of a figure. Or if it's a 2 body set sold at a nice enough price. Maybe watching some Tony Jaa movies might hype me up a bit more.

I definitely like the look of the figure with the visual design not significantly compromised with plentiful joint placement.
Lack of double hinged elbows is fine, though I think that as much as it would cut into the look of the torso, some sort of abdominal or mid torso joint is necessary for getting the figure in more proper Muay Thai poses. The shoulders also need increased articulation ability, especially for elbow strikes and clinches for knee striking.
However, this isn't an action figure so such articulation would be unrealistic to expect.

The likeness is a bit off IMHO... not as impressive as the other Storm Toys releases.

I dig this, depending on the price I may get it. I enjoy "most" of Tony Jaa's films and the first Ong-bak is awesome

I'm shocked some people in this thread did not know who this guy was
I feel like any martial arts movie fans is going to be familiar with him through Ong Bak. That movie is just too good.

Is it the lighting? Or is this what happens when Storm Toys gets mass produced? A drop in quality? I know it's only a couple of pics, but I am a bit concerned about how their mass produced Dennis Rodman figure might turn out now. This does not really look like the pics shown earlier.

Some of those pics were shown at an earlier show, & looked pretty good there. The newer pics were shown at a more recent show I think, & kinda don't look as nice. Could be lighting. But I don't know. I'm more interested in the messy haired sculpt. Looked good in the promo pics.
