Got onto the EX waitlist for this. I think I'll start an X-Men collection... but this one will be next to my Black Panther. The base seems to match up well too.

I will probably not get the Jim Lee's storm. Never like that white / silver costume. I'm happy with this version.

The costume design on Storm suck balls. Never liked it and will not miss it one bit if it ever gets release.
On another note, I would had thought you would prefer Rob Liefeld over JL. He is the best anatomically correct drawing over any artist to date!

I was just curious because I never saw it stated anywhere a white costume PF was coming anytime soon beyond people speculating here. If this is factual, its good news to me. My head isn't in the sand, it's just not on the Internet as much as some other people.

Q. For the Premium Format X-Men line, I’m concerned that we won’t be getting a Storm or Nightcrawler version? I wasn’t impressed with the Comiquette version of Storm (punk look distracting), any plans for her in Premium Format? I do like the Comiquette version of Nightcrawler, but would prefer him in a Premium Format too, any plans?
Why so concerned? You’ll probably find yourself pleasantly surprised within the year, with at least one of the two. We’re pretty firmly dedicated to bringing all of the major players from the Lee era of X-men to life in PF.
Even with mention of the "all of the major players from the Lee era of X-Men" I never saw this as a promise of white costume Storm. They mentioned Nightcrawler, who wasn't even an X-Man during that era. But they said "at least one of the two", and so we have this Storm, not in Lee's costume but she is a major player from Lee's era. I took it this current one is what they were referring too. But if this means Jim Lee costume Storm I'm for it to add to my other 90s/Jim Lee X-Men PFs. I don't doubt one will come eventually.

Yes that is the Q and A he is referring to. But it is ridiculous to think that every board member is up-to-date on those things (it is also pretty dated). I agree that we'll eventually see a Jim Lee Storm.
