They will. SSC will not leave those kind of $$$ on the table. A kick ass 1/4 fully sculpted classic Hulk will sell like hot cakes. Too many of us are waiting for that piece to get made.
Agreed on all points. The movie Cap PF looks very good. I just don't collect movie based statues. I also agree that a well done 1/4 fully sculpted classic Cap is something that would be on every marvel fans radar.

Yep, and a classic Thor too! They made too little way back we need a new PF cap and Thor classics run. They will sell for sure. The old ES on the ones made was way too small.

wouldn't matter if they doubled the ES of the earlier releases, you still wouldn't have one and the prices would still be higher than retail.......

Well they have in the past. Not to the same extent as Bowen. However, there are exceptions:
Hulk PF Grey and Green;
Hulk Comiquette Green, Red, and Grey;
Spiderman Comiquette and PF;
Spiderman BIB and IronSpider;
Wolverine and Logan PF, and Wolvernine Comiquette;
Red Skull 2 PFs;
Psylocke PF and Comiquette
Scarlet Witch Comiquette and PF;
ETC....
Sorry EVERYTIME I go to post this I think of another examples. So I can see Cap and Thor each getting a 1/4 Comiquette.
It will happen Spidey. There is no doubt. Cap, Thor, Hulk, Doom, etc....
They will all get made eventually. However, they will be labeled PFs. 1/4 scale Coms don't exist anymore.

The original comment was about characters with 2 comic PFs. Steve Rogers has 1. The other Steve Rogers PF isn't a comic version. Bucky has 1 as Captain America but he's a different character. So far Wolverine is the only character with 2 comic PFs currently available.
Aside from Marvel, there's Indiana Jones, Luke & Anakin Skywalker, Tomb Raider, Elvira, Hellboy, Im sure there's more...it's not unusual to have multiple PFs of the same character. It's beginning already with Marvel (fact! not speculation) and disgruntled, jaded old collectors hate it.
Still doesn't mean that sideshow will redo characters just for noobs

After all these years, SS still puts out products with no rhyme or reason. Teams or groups are rarely completed, and characters that are clamored for may take ages for appear in any format, if at all. Until SS puts up a notice for pre-order or surprise pre-order there really is no way to know what they will do. (Other than have consistently bad QC)

SS should really announce a plan for a line so we know exactly what to expect instead of requests and hoping etc. It's really just a crap shoot!

Lol Red and Grey Comiquettes are out or coming out.
As for SSC not making statues for noobs. They will eventually make these types of statues again because they do have a bottom line which is to make money, and they don't make money off of old statues.

That's my philosophy. Don't expect anything b happy for what u get
They're not doing it just for noobs. They're doing it for anybody that has interest in updated versions, new or old, and more importantly because it's their interest to do so and it will make money. Aside from money I really think they just make what they feel inspired to make, new, redo or whatever it may be. Make another Thor when they feel. Re-Re-release Hulk Comiquette however many times they want.
Point...they do what they want. Those that think they know don't really know.
