Great pics. I hated the black version when it was first previewed but in hand pics quickly changed my mind. I actually prefer the regular portrait more.

I agree the contrast is really good. Makes the statue look much better. If she had come with the EX head instead of the regular I may have actually went for her. I still just can't get into this sculptor's style when it comes to female faces.

That's the thing Spidey, I was constantly checking my email yesterday, and went to order immediately. I never even got the chance to buy it. If it had been up long enough for people following their alerts to at least. Go to the site and decide, then I would own a cherished piece right now. So to be in the hobby and not have an inferior collection I need to be on FB, twitter and the boards 24/7 or miss forever on a piece I would love to own, or pay the lucky sob's gouger prices??? Does not compute!

I get that pov, I love the character and would have preferred the whit costume myself.

Not feeling any better about this today. Don't care about ES.

That's bull****. Everybody isn't on twitter and who is on Facebook 24/7? We're not all in the same convenient time zone. All they had to do if using those channels was give a heads up a day or two in advance. Be prepared at 1100 est, something special and hard to get coming, ready to ship.

This is going to leave a sour taste in my mouth for a long time.

Honestly not sure where to go with this. Should probably shut it down, eat some NRD's and return my focus to comics.

I was already buying Reg Storm having missed the first EX, now the site of it would irritate me to no end. Had to cancel even though I love the character.

I am absolutely crushed by this. I got the email and immediately went to order. This is a statue I was even watching the proof on in ebay debating getting...only to miss because they sent me an email about a sold out statue...WTF?

I mean, if you have Zero chance of getting what you want...what is the point of this hobby? So you can be gouged by some a-hole flipper having the same statue shipped/drop kicked twice?

This wasn't even teased, I mean, come on, how are you supposed to have a fighting chance? This type of thing isn't exciting or fun.

I am actually feeling physically ill right now.

Thanks, but what's the point? This actually robs the excitement of seeing this piece become available. Pay double on ebay? For what? Trying to order as soon as I learn it even exists only to find out the twitter/FB followers had already gobbled it up. That makes it ok how?

This doesn't feel like a hobby. Gambling? Lottery? Completely random happenstance if you were in the right place, able to order.

I was on FB too, but you have any idea how many alerts/news feed items go scrolling by? This was a blink and you missed it opportunity.

The head rocks and it's still one of my favorite statues. It sucks to see 4 of these on eBay from flippers looking to get $800+ from someone like me (won't happen here ), but to those that have 1 they should be allowed to enjoy it in this space. Nice pics so far!

Now, this I totally agree with. I have one coming, but it disgusts me when you see these greedy a$$hats asking that much money for a brand new piece, when you guys missed out and actually wanted her for your collection.

When I first saw the SS post about White costume Storm, and
responded, early in the morning on the release date, it was already
sold out!
Everything in life is a gamble. We are all very blessed, and fortunate
not only to be able to collect, share our ideas, respond with
Technology, but also to have clothes on our back, food , and a roof over
our heads!
Our passion, and collecting hobbies is always icing on the cake!
As I have said many times, I would like something for my collection,
but I will stll wake up tomorrow if I do not have it!

does anyone rotate their figs for displaying?
I have a dedicated Toyroom, but I stil have some display space problems
I also use my office for displaying. should I continue to keep the boxes,and packaging. I do not plan to sell anything, but one
Never knows!
An input is appreciated.

The white is cool, but I still prefer the black costume. I always thought it was ultra sexy. White on statues always concerns me, especially white fabric. I still consider it a gorgeous piece though. I just prefer the more classic costume. If they would have done the purple-blue costume she had not too long ago, I would be banging my head for missing it.

I'd keep the boxes, not just incase you ever need to sell but more so because you may decide to move. I've always found being able to place a statue in its original box is best for transporting them.

Absolutely keep the boxes. Even if you don't sell anything, you will probably still move at some point in your life, and the original boxes are the best way to ensure safe travels.
