The body on the PF Leia looks great, but her face is a banana. :slap Not as bad as the new Gentle Giant Slave Leia bust but not far behind. Without a custom paint the statue is not what is supposed to be

Don't get me wrong but I really don't see enough changes to the regular one to justify that price. Apart from having no floppy body, that is. At least the armour should've been done glossy and shiny.

After giving my Stormie a new body I only lack a nice base like that. Apart from that I don't really miss a tiny thing.

I'm not quite sure I understand where are you coming from. This is the 1:4 PF statue. The armor is glossy, the helmet and cod piece have some improvements over the 1:6 figure. The 1:6 figure is cool on its own, but also not perfect.

That pic of slave Leia next to the stormie shows what I was saying before - he is too big. Sideshow's consistency of scale on the PF's that I have seen is absolute garbage. Leia looks like a hobbit next to him. :dunno

Fisher is 5'1 and is just over 15" at 1/4 scale.
A trooper at 6' tall including helmet is 18" at 1/4 scale.
The scale on both of these is good.

Yeah, Fisher is quite short. I always think of the opening scene in ANH when the stormtroopers bring her to Vader. She comes up to their shoulders at the most. The scale looks good to me.

Oh. I thought it was 1/6 and the pics don't clearly show it's glossy. Never mind.

Sideshow will be sending replacement for my damaged statue and I get to destroy the one I have (thanks to Jaclyn .... good customer service). I'll have to bring a hammer home from work.

Looking forward to actually putting the trooper in the display case.

When did you contact them about the damaged one? And what was damaged on yours?

I reported the damage when I received it last Wed. One leg was snapped off and one of the shoulder plates. I could have fixed it without anyone but myself knowing but of course that is the problem.

Plus when your paying $300+ with shipping you deserve an unbroken figure. :gah::slap

Another one broken no way! sorry to hear that, so what is exacly the issue with your stormie?

The left leg is broken under the fabric at the knee. It's not visible at all but it wobbles from side to side. I'm not sure if this is making the statue unstable on the base or not.

Does anyone that has ordered this have the problem with the Stormtrooper seeming to be unstable on the base? The foot peg seems to be too small for the hole in the base, it doesn't seem like it would be sturdy if the leg wasn't broken. :dunno

I got mine and it is amazing. With that said, the packing on this thing is horrible. No wonder some are broken. What was SSC thinking? I hope this isn't going to be a new trend.

They were thinking "lets save a buck" but in the end this is going to cost them with all the returns.

When I unpacked mine I noticed that the right leg was loose and seemed to rotate at the knee. I didnt think much of it. I set him in the base and moved him into postion. It wasnt until later when I pulled him out of the base to show my brother and the bottom of the leg remained in the base. Fortunately it was an easy fix and you cant even tell.

Thats good you fixed it..but you shouldn't have to fix it. I could probably fix the shoulder bell on mine (not the scratches) but I dont want to pay $300 for a statue I have to fix.
