It was 7 business days before I got a response. SS is sending me a replacement body. However, a quick email saying we received your msg and are reviewing it would have been nice vs silence. But I'm happy now and I'll be even happier when the trooper takes his place in the display case.

My last replacement process took a month. It took a while for them to give me the return authorization, and then it took a few weeks (after they received my return) to get the replacement shipped out. So be ready to be patient, but they will get you sorted out in the end. Just expect about four weeks time, not counting shipping there and back.

I just watched this review from masterreplicasguy, with packaging like that it's no wonder so many people are having breakage issues.

If they do this in 1:1 the flaws will be even more obvious. Plus for the price they will be asking you could get 2 maybe even 3 armors that are more accurate (for example getting ANH plus ROTJ armors and helmets). The PF is great for what it is, but in 1:1 scale people will ask for more than just a licensed statue with a simple artistic interpretation of what a Stormtrooper might look like .

the funny thing is that a company like kotobukiya protects their statues impeccibley. They wrap each and every piece with a "protective film" to prevent any damage to the paint.

everything is thoughtfully considered in terms of packaging. And they do all of this on statues that cost around $100.

I am paying 3x more for SS statues and get far, far less in that regard.

Exactly and on the other hand Kotobukiya statues are vinyl, which is harder to damage than resin or polystone. And still their way of protecting the statues is impeccable. You might receive a damaged Koto box, but inside everything is perfectly safe.
