More interested in Pac-Man vs. Mega Man, personally. This is an interesting idea. These two games were always so different, but SF IV definitely took some lessons from the more complex, Tekken style of fighter.

We've got to see Capcom vs. DC one of these days.

From what I read SFxT will play like a Street Fighter game, which means locked in a 2D plane with SF moves and controls. TxSF will play more like Tekken with SF characters.

This makes me wonder if they'll give the Tekken characters projectile attacks. I'm no expert on this series, but Tekken characters don't use fireballs and whatnot, right?

Yeah, tekken is more martial arts then projectile moves.

Not in the Tekken version which is 3D.

But it you watched the demo, Kazuya was kicking Ryu's ass. So I'm not worried about it being unbalanced.

But being a big Tekken fan, it'll be sad, because we all know that SFXT is going to sell more than TXSF.

i bet they make the story mode pan across both games so you have to buy both to get the full story

True, but not so much for these crossovers and "expansion games" like MK vs. DC, Tekken Tag Tournament, MK Trilogy, etc.

It's more so about service to fans than anything. But overall people don't flock to fighters for stories, they gravitate towards the play style, mechanics, and characters they like.
