Great netcode or not, I don't anticipate lag-free games against players on the other side of the pacific.

By the way, most hardcore Japanese players like to hone their skills offline and then go to their local arcade (which are still popular in JP) where hardcore players usually compete. This doesn't mean you won't see many Japanese players online, it's just that online console gaming - especially fighting games - just doesn't have as much penetration there as there is here.

Anyway, I just picked up an SFIV game pad (Ken artwork) to go along with the SE stick I'm getting. I wish these game pads weren't $40. That's only $10 less than a regular Xbox 360 or Dual Shock 3 controller, and those have analogue sticks! The artwork on these pads are what interests me - I kinda want to hunt down a blanka game pad.

Ya, about $150 but it was stated it is very limited and now sold out. Now a lot of people want one including me. I preordered the SFIV madcatz for my PS3. BTW anyone has the Playstation 3 Real Arcade Pro. 3 Fighting Stick? I'm thinking about getting that since I missed out on the SFIV TE fight stick.

The TE sticks will probably be made available again sometime down the line. Capcom obviously didn't anticipate demand and are still reeling from it (This is applicable to the Collector's Edition of the game, which I hear is pre-sold out at many retailers).

The HRAP3 is a very good stick itself.

The buttons are pretty much the only big difference compared to the SF TE stick.

The HRAP3 uses Hori buttons rather than sanwa buttons.

You can just buy 6-8 buttons and swap them/snap in out once you pop the stick open.

Just a heads up for those that care. TRU has some Chun Li little figures (similar to the Ryu you get w/ the collectors edition), I don't know how you get them but my guess is if you pre-ordered it there....or buy it there.

The thing is also made by SOTA, which is funny as I thought they went out of business......
