I've started to realize how pointless the BP system is when you're assessing the skill of a player.

I played an opponent with over 3500 BP and all he did (as Ken, no less) was turtle in a corner, throw Hadoukens, and do crouching hard kick sweeps and Dragon Punches when I got near. Of course, I punished him whenever his Dragon Punches missed.

It's just amazing how some of these scrub players can amass so many BP even though they suck. The must've been lucky drawing straws against other sucky opponents.

was finally able to pick up a fightstick for the PS3 today at gamestop. Used it for about 30mins and so far so good. Was able to pull off some moves easier then on the normal controller, but I still have some getting used to. Im thinking of changing out the stick and swapping the buttons out, thinking of plugging up the first 2.

I don't even care about BP. I woke up the other morning, played a few rounds against some tough opponents, racked up around 700bp and the played some more the same afternoon and lost them all. I don't care if I win or lose. You obviously can't win them all. As long as I get to play against some good players that want to get out there and mix it up as opposed to just sitting in a corner throwing fireballs I'm happy, win or lose. I do love the panic of habitual fireballers when I EX Sky High Claw through their fireballs though.

I find myself playing more in the 'player matches' than ranked matches now. I got tired of all the rage-quitters that would disconnect when you were whooping their ass just to save their precious BPs.
