Of course, installing a repeat forever button probably changes policy or the idea of free music. And it's relate more to music since people don't repeatedly listen to boring stuff.

Whenever a group or person is associated with racism (whether they're racist or not) it seems that the margins empty out their worst and they cling to it. The left calls Trump racist, white supremacists want Trump. I assumed that most of what the Alt-Right does is troll idiots characterizing something harmless as racist, and from there the entire movement was branded as being as bad as their worst. Took me a second to sort it out.

the alt right seems to have some extreme people though, some pretty harsh views. but the media seems to be falling for the bait and the trolling.

If they define themselves such that those elements aren't excluded, those elements will define them. Libertarians have the same problem.

It's fairly nascent as movements go. The good elements aren't defined by the bad yet. They will if it coheres as is.

I can't remember if it was Pew Research that conducted the polling, but most Trump supporters favor a Muslim ban, and over 60% believe that the President was born elsewhere and is a practicing Muslim. There's also some pretty disturbing statistics on how most of them view blacks (somewhere around 30% of them believe that it was a mistake to end slavery). In general, the views held by the majority of his supporters aren't reflective of the Republican Party as a whole (most, including myself, stayed away from the Primaries). Point being: I think the underlying problem with the optics of his base supporters is far greater than the alt-right Internet trolls.

While I didn't personally favor Cruz, to his credit, he never had this kind of problem. And neither did any other candidate, for that matter.

It's not half of the country. But, there's definitely a large portion of his supporters who hold bigoted views. Of course, that doesn't excuse the abject nonsense that's going on with the far Left - and we can all agree on that. It's just a shame that politics has degenerated this way.

I'm sure a large proportion of Hillary supporters have bigoted views as well.

I've read about people not feeding their dogs meat or meat products. That's just damn silly. Stick to birds......or rabbits. :lol

I had to sit through a student presentation a while back. She was doing a photo-essay on vegans. One pic showed a vegan and her pet dog. I jokingly asked what she fed the dog, absolutely not expecting the stupid I got back as a reply.
