"THE GREATEST STUPID QUESTION EVER..."

"Which is heavier a pound of bricks or a pound of feathers?"

:lol

That's like asking, what color is the white horse of Napoleon? LOL

A real stupid question, what exactly is "Diecast" (refering to the new Hot Toys products)
Is it just like the MMS just more detailed or am I missing something?

How come shoes are designed so that every single time you put one on and set your foot down to tie the lace, the lace ends up under your heel?

Okay, I'm going crazy here and arguing with my mom.

I have central air that works through my heater. I have the same thermostat for both.

Now, I have it running and it's getting too cold. It's set on 72 right now. I don't want to turn it off because of the humidity and the fact that our ovens are running baking.

So, if I want to make it a little warmer, or less cool, do I turn it up to 74 or down to 70? IMO, it's 74. Mom says turn it to 70.

I tried looking online and people are answering it both ways. I swear I go through this every year. UGH!

You just won the thread. It is simple logic...74 is warmer than 70. If you want warmer...you turn the temperature warmer (or...UP). If you want it colder...you turn the temperature colder (or...DOWN).

:lol @ turning the thermostat down to bring the temperature up.

I understand the twisted logic - I think - like, if the thermostat is dialled lower then the heater somehow calculates that it needs to churn out more heat to maintain the current temperature... but no, that's not how it works - at least not in our day!

That's what I've been saying but.....NOOOOOOOOO.... :lol

I didn't win the thread, there's some dumber ones in here. :pfft:
