Medicine is an obvious example, but cultivation of crops is another. So is political thought (even if it is a dead science). There's survival value in art, technology, architecture, industry...

But, you're right. Cheat isn't the word. It's the wrong word for taxes too. Cheating presumes a dishonesty has been committed, and the only dishonesty involved in not paying taxes is the idea that you should be paying them. I was being ironic.

Is there any way on a PC that you can access Yahoo mail without having to look at their webpage? I use Yahoo as my homepage because that's where my main mail account is but it pisses me off every time I go on it due to the articles that are posted on it these days. I don't even want to see the headlines.

*Don't yahoo have setting that allow you to trim to your preference? MSN.com does but Mr. Green set it to delete cache anyway. Chrome front page is google search and Mr. Green have his mail saved as favorites on the top bar. Maybe you can save your email link from your browser of choice or set your default homepage/new tab to your email link. So every time it start, you'll be sent to your email asap.
