This is very upsetting
I preordered mine the second it went online through Urban collector.
When folks started saying that UC sent an email saying they may not be fulfilling every order, I was kind of relieved because I had not gotten the email, I thought maybe since I was one of the first orders, I was safe.

I emailed customer support today to verify the status and they let me know that EVERYONE was sent the email, and mine must have gotten snagged in a spam filter somewhere.

I know they said they were going to try to secure some from some other suppliers, but this puts a bad taste in my mouth. Not towards UC, but Gentle Giant. I have never been a fan of their work, I own a couple of pieces, but on the whole I feel GG's sculpts and final products are dull. The one piece that gets me excited about collecting from their line and they pull this crap. If they cannot fill my order, I refuse to buy one on the secondary market just in spite.

I got my order in on time, and it's been what, almost a year now and this is the reward?

Like I mentioned I refuse to buy one on eBay, and I know this is a completely stupid question, buuuuuuuuuut, is there any other retailers out there I should place a backup PO with since UC may fall thru, or am I just completely screwed?

Contact BBTS and ask them if you can be put on a wait list if anyone's CC is declined. It may or may not work but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Cereza CSC is very good if you send them an email also regarding your issue. They won't charge you a restocking fee for this item at all. Not like if they do get it in they'll have a problem getting rid of it.

I've sent them an email already, but they still don't know anything. if it's coming or not, when it's coming ... I trust them to hell, but after all the drama with this damn statue, i want to make sure it will arrive home someway

Hi Paula, It appears that most retailers will not be getting their full order for these Babydoll figures. We are still getting some but we are not sure if we can get our full allotment so some of our customers may be unhappy. Sorry do not have a wait list.

The sad thing is GG really could've opened up a whole new market by doing 1/4 statues. But the way this one is going with allocations and such, they screwed the pooch.

On another GG-bashing note, their shipping company ran out of shipping boxes for their SDCC McQuarrie snowtrooper bust, so most of us have been waiting to get this item shipped even though we've already been charged.

I liked it more the normal version and it was cheaper.
Now if i don't get the normal version I will have to buy it at a high price.


I have a question for you, where you the one that bought the Alamo's Mondo poster of Sucker Punch? And if you did, where did you get it and how much did you paid for it? I'm not usually buying original art, but that poster is awesome.
