Yes, I actually ordered from Urban Collector for a bit of a discount. Then, got scared I'd miss out due to allocations, so I ordered direct just to make sure I'd get one. Good thing too, since Urban Collector has now been told by Diamond that they can give them zero Baby Dolls!

I guess no one read my last post. I emailed Urban and they seemed confident about getting some babydolls from other sources they had ordered from outside of Diamond. I'm not counting on it but it seems that our chances aren't zero at least. I haven't paid for my babydoll, just PO so I don't know how they would have charged you for it already.

I read your post, sarakawa. Urban might still get some Baby Dolls. I was just saying their big chunk from Diamond got the axe. I think there is still some hope. I just wouldn't completely count on it, that's all. I wish you the best of luck.

Item ordered: Sucker Punch Babydoll Polystone Statue by Gentle Giant

New information: rumors are floating around various distributors are unable
to fill their orders to retailers. We have received word that Diamond Comics
will not be filling our orders for Babydoll. We have orders in with 2 other
sources and are hoping to be able to fill our orders. That being said, we
have run into issues in the past regarding popular, limited quantity
statues. Gentle Giant has ultimate control over where the statues go, so
allocations are completely out of our control.

We are allowing cancellations without the non-refundable deposit if you are
able to secure your statue elsewhere. If we do not hear from you, we will
keep your pre-order and make our best effort to fill it.

Hello, i've sent an email already about this. But i'd like to know if you're going to distribute your Babydoll Statues to CornerStoreComics, because a lot of stores are canceling their orders due to GG not distributing this statues to them.
I have this PO for a long time now, and i'm really concerned about it.

Hi Paula! Thank you for your inquiry. We do not deal directly with retailers; we have a network of distributors both domestic and international that FLCS get our products from. The Babydoll statue's a piece that's in very high demand, and some distributors took more orders than they had the allotment for (hence all the cancellations).

That being said, you still do have a chance at getting a Babydoll statue. I recommend joining the GG Premier Guild. It's $60 per calendar year and you get a free mini bust, among other benefits. One of those benefits is the chance to purchase one of 100 Japanese Variant Babydoll Statues when they arrive in our online storefront come late September.

IMO that's a waste of $60.00.

Hey, no worries and yes i got that email as well. the post i had earlier was after i responded to their original email and asked if we were at 0% for getting a baby doll. they said it was still a small possibility. im not going to cancel but im not counting on it either. i guess this just opens up some extra funds for the next must have sideshow item that comes up

So far some people are speculating on first come first serve...but no one knows except Gentle Giant and they haven't said anything.
