Thanks for the quick e-bay tutorial! I never noticed the completed listings thing before. What is even scarier about that sale is it must have been listed even higher, the customer used best offer.

Note though that the auction that sold for 925 was the first one that was open to international bidders, all the other ones seen so far were limited to the US, so its not surprising to see this one sold for higher

Good question. I'm sure they could raise a stink since the Japan version image was used in the auction. An oversight by the seller that might come back to bite them in the ass.

From the beginning Fanboy Collectibles has been very upfront about the allocation issues with this piece. When this first went up for preorder I placed my order with them. He told me that I was 17th in line to receive one and that he would gladly take my order but could not guarantee it.

Edition size of 500, and from the beginning the only way to guarantee the preorder was to order direct. After a short period time even the preorders direct from GG were conditional. Not sure why everyone is so surprised now that they were so heavily allocated
