I have a similar rule but it is slightly different. I reserve 1/6 for things I like or am generally into which span many different licenses, companies, etc. BUT 1/4 for me is based on awesome designs. I've passed on many 1/4 pieces of characters I love because the design didn't really appeal to me. Something about Baby Doll, not only the way she is dressed but also about the way she looks and the way she is posed, the weaponry, etc is very awesome and kind oozes that sexual mix that a lot of the female SSC attempts go for naturally whereas some of the other attempts are really forced.

Amber kind of has that but her design isn't that appealing and Sweet Pea I really think they went left on. I'll be content with just Baby Doll but I understand where you are coming from.

agreed. which is what i might end up breaking my 1/4 rule with baby doll. i dunno... will try my hardest to resist. used to apply that same rule to 1/6, then ht's john connor showed up and rules are bent.

Haha, good subject change and yeah, I know what you mean. The Nazi's(which was a derogatory name/term) didn't come into play until 1933 when the National Socialist Party came to power, or something like that anyway. WWI was fought during 1914-1918.

It was me who said that? I'm impressed with how cogent my original estimate of the film was. Matrix was an overacted, melodramatic, and pretentious heap of horse____ philosophy. It was also ugly. Ugly sets, ugly actors, ugly dialogue, ugly rhythm, and ugly basic premises.

I can see how it would appeal to the critics though. Was that Cornel West in the third movie? Birds of a feather, and all.

critics hate the 3rd movie, cornel west or no cornell west. check out the baromater in RT for proof. film was so bad i dont even think any self respecting geek would even admit to even liking the 3rd film for fear of losing their street cred. but we're talking 'matrix' now, not matrix revolution, nor matrix reloaded. and i have to repeat:

hmm... coming back into this thread i cant help but be reminded that someone here said a long time ago sucker punch looks better than the matrix. he was so sure of it, we even got into a debate about it.

and yet another someone, a pr person, boasted that he's seen "90%" of the film way before everyone else here, and that the film looks cool.

well, the film is officially a boring piece of crap. and i wonder what those 2 would think now. and no... i dont gloat. but sometime when people are wrong they have to be reminded that they're wrong, so they'd learn a thing or two, and not be so full of hot air the next time. a little humility always does us good.

I like the concept of Sweet Pea. I love the costume. I love the weapons. I love her look. Hence my interest in the piece which I hope I can find to buy as I may have missed the deadline for the pre-orders.

Regardless of the movie, her character has made an impression on me.
