Im down for a couple harley quinns
^ it's true. And I've said it before I even think they scrapped the apocalypse figure, I'm getting the vibe I hope I'm wrong.
You're wrong. They're not done with BvS yet. They're just blowing their entire CIVIL WAR wad at one time.
And we'll get at least 2-3 figures from Suicide Squad, unless the movie is a total bust in which case they'd probably just do whichever they officially announce first. But I have a feeling it won't be the doom and gloom some are predicting in here.
Why are we assuming Hot Toys won't go all-in with Suicide Squad? They made all the GOTG, and those were a bunch of total no-names prior to the movie.
Harley Quinn, Joker, Killer Croc and Deadshot are all well-known names. And even Boomerang and Katana have their fans. It's really only El Diablo that all the merchandisers have forsaken.
Yes, Hot Toys have only shown off four BvS characters--but other than Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, who else really was there to market? Lois and Martha Kent? LOL.
Doomsday would have required a huge and totally unique mold, and the design for him wasn't even finalized until a couple months ago. Even if Hot Toys wanted to, I doubt they could have a Doomsday figure ready to show off yet.
DC is giving a huge push to Suicide Squad, and I think it's far too early to write off HT's line.

I don't think they'll do them all. Deadpool was a huge hit. They could easily have sold Colossus and the X-Men girl (can't remember her cool name), maybe they are in the pipe now, maybe not. I think they do Joker and Harley and Deadshot and maybe Croc. If the film is a hit, they might do more. I hope they do them all...

Guardians of Galaxy is Marvel, and unless you're new to HT, you'd know they have some fetish for all things in the marvel universe. There won't be more than three figures from Suicide Squad. They're not making the whole team.
Doomsday would've required a unique mold? You mean kind of like the 1/6 Hulk that HT made? Point is if it's not Marvel, they don't give a ****.
The design for Doomsday was only finalized a couple months ago. How could Hot Toys have had a unique mold ready to go and show off already? It took them two YEARS to get a Drax mold ready they were happy with, and that was with a design that was finalized like a year before the movie.
Hot Toys very well may jump in and do the whole team, minus Slipknot and possibly El Diablo unless this line is crazy successful.
Yes, Hot Toys is gaga for Marvel--but this is the first time there's a *real* DC Cinematic Universe to market against it.
Is anyone factoring in the possibility of a Batman rerelease/rebrand?
I'm hoping for the white suit look, myself. Since Batman is so Dark Knight Returns-y, I think Joker should follow suit, no pun intended.
