perhaps in a more mysterious and visually captivating setting?
At night, in the middle of the city instead is an idea. It’d be much more light handed and a tasteful cinematic viewing. Which is what a Superman film should be, light handed.

Um most of them are shot from a distance. But I'm sure we're also meant to identify with these people, and not see them as random nobodies pointing to the sky.
