I actually think it looks absolutely amazing and solid. I’m not a Superman fan whatsoever. I have no idea what else you could want of of him. Isn’t this Superman? Hopeful and bright? I mean I didn’t notice the suit at all. It’s not all dark and moody and gray. That’s literally what he is. A colorful character from my understanding.

There's something about this trailer that makes me feel light and fluttery, in a good way.

I'm not a Superman fan but I think the softer, more human touch that this Superman is going for might just be the movie to really bring DC to its next stage. I also like the inclusion of Superdog though I hope the CGI will be more improved by the time it releases.

But yes that was way better than I expected. Movie could still be bad but wow that gives me hope for the direction of dc.

A couple of things I noticed was it looks CG when he lying in the snow. Maybe the real thing was wrinkled up too much...

and in this shot, the footage is flipped because the S is backwards

Gunn likes his dogs- I think adding Krypto is going to be a great decision. Fingers crossed this will be just not good but a revelation for DC

I am very happy because it looks like they are bringing us in the DC comic universe and not bringing the superheroes in our world finally. I am so tired of the realistic takes. Comicbooks are not that. I really love the trailer. It looks great. Also is it parasite in the trailer?

Too much nip...that's Batman's style.

Thing is, this type of Superman film, I feel, can get away with trunks. It's bright, comicbook-y, it has Krypto for crying out loud. The 'not taking itself super seriously, light hearted' feel works in the trunks favour. Especially when you have the likes of Guy Gardener and that awful haircut.

BvS on the other hand, would never have made the trunks work.
