You don’t but no matter if this movie is good or bad you’re not going to like it. You made up your mind already. I mean your welcome to share ur opinion but this movie won’t live up to your “omg Snyder “ expectations lol

I've made up my mind on what I think it is going to be like, like most people.

It's James Gunn, that's a given.

You made up your mind when it was announced. This movie could have been darker than the Snyder movies but cause he’s not putting his stink on it you don’t like it. Hell it just might be dark considering the very first shot we see of Superman is him beaten and bloody .

Did you miss the dog in the cape?

No, I haven't. The chances of a movie with a flying dog with a cape being serious/dark are low.
My guy dc comics is goofy and has a right balance of both dark and light hearted content. It was never a grim dark universe. I’d argue marvel is more dark. Dc was always a balance. Man flying around with a cape on and bright colors doesn’t scream dark anyway. So the dog fits in fine

I get it that everyone wants a lighthearted, campy, happy go lucky Superman movie. What I'm struggling to understand is how you're seeing any of that from anything they've shown so far.

I'd argue pretty much all of what we've seen of it is the exact opposite, no? Where is this sunny, happy, hopeful tone you're all saying this is gonna have?

I suppose the comedy will make up for it?
