These are pictures of my heads I painted tonight. Normally I wuss around a good week fixing and tweaking things, and I'm no Figurematster Les anyways, so be kind! These aren't their final outfits either, It's just what I happened to have so far. (disclaimer over)
Everybody's should be sent off Thurs at the latest (my day off), but I'll try to get them off before hand.

Nice work. I can really see the Dean now. I can't wait to see what Ada did with the paint. Since I ordered these I have added some skill to my paint-ups so I may redo them anyways. If you have have pics ready of the prepainted ones please show.

The heads are insane!!! Wow I can't wait to get em. She did a good job on the paint, not bad at all.
To answer everyones questions season 4 is going to be in July. There have been two seperate instances where Jared has said so. He was at an ICON event and said that season two starts in July so his schedule is crazy cause they gotta jump right into shooting for the new season. He also said that two major events were supposed to happen in season 3 and they didn't happen due to the season chop.(I know what they are and they are MAJOR SPOILERS so I'm not saying what)
He also did pictorial with the tv guide and on his break took 5 mins to answer fan questions in an interview. He said that season 4 starts in july and that it is so crazy because of how he has the Friday the 13th prequel/remake to do and he doesn't get a break from Supernatural so he doesn't get alot free time. He's bouncing between shoots.
Another thing is that ppl in the UK get Supernatural stuff later than us (season dvds,books,season premeires and episodes, and merchandise etc...) and their seson 3 dvd comes out in August. Ours comes out in July (not a specific date set in July yet but I'm assuming middle or late July) and as some of you know Supernatural does the sweet thing of releasing the previous season on dvd the same month that the new season airs. So with the dvd coming in July our season 4 will be July.
Alot of ppl don't know Eric Kripke said that Supernatural IS ONLY GOING TO BE A 5 SEASON RUN!!!! He said that he wants them to end it on their own terms and not let it go on and on past its point and prime. He wants to say what needs to be said, do what needs to be done and end it short and sweet. He said he wants it to be a show thats great until the last episode.
So that tells you that season 4 will be extended because they have alot to get done especially with season 3 gettin chopped.

Now that I can finally see the pictures, they look pretty good.
Sam is instantly recognizable. Dean not so much.
I think it is the hair color that is throwing it off. Needs lighter highlights or something.

Wow, I wish I'd gotten in on these but I missed the beginning of all this! Congrats to those who snagged one or both, and Ada's paint talents equal her sculpting talents!!

I say this from the standpoint of one who can neither sculpt or paint.
I have about 16 of Ada's sculpts. Some are quite good, others are ok. She does paint better than I could, but...
I'm not convinced she ever looks at pix of the people she sculpts. Sam should have almost black hair, not brown. The paint almost detracts from how good the sculpts looked in the beginning. I got a Chuck Connors from her with brown hair when it should be blonde. I know I'm just rambling, but I just needed to say it.
Still can't wait to get these though!! Any word on delivery time?

I don't think Ada looks at reference when she paints either. Not that I'll ever be accused of being a great painter, but looking at reference when you paint a head of an existing person is essential. Everybody's eyebrow shapes are unique. Lip shapes are distinctive. Some actors, like Kurt Russel, have characteristics like very dark eye lashes. And when painting, you can change the shape of the eye accidentally or an purpose which can kill a sculpt that was great, of fix a sculpts eyes that were off.
I spent all last night labeling packages, so the heads are going off this afternoon!

Hey gang! I just wanted to show you the stands that I made for my sam and dean. I painted the stands black and applied glue aroung the circle of the bases and put some white sparkle glitter as salt so my sam and dean are in a protective circle of salt....
