Yeah, man...it pains me....I loved Season 1-6, but as we all know, the original creator himself had planned on 5 years...........and the 6th took on Satan - pretty awesome. The one way they would get me back: God

I will definitely be disappointed if God doesn't make an appearance but series end. It needs to happen.

That....was a little underwhelming. :(

I needed more Cas....the lack thereof hurt me. Another filler. Need more episodes that contribute to the season plot.

Whaaaaaaaat? That episode was awesome. It truly felt like a throwback to the old school Supernatural. Light on comedy, heavy on shadows, and featuring the Brothers Winchester coming to the aid of an old "friend" (frenemy?). I thought it was refreshing to get an episode where the only presence of any Angels or Demons was a single reference to Cain at the very beginning.

I need more angels and demons! I get what you're saying, but it just missed the mark for me, especially after coming back from another pseudo-break.

I've grown tired of Angels and Demons. Dare I say, even Cas. Crowley's mommy issues have him resigned to "persona non grata" for me, up until they rid themselves of that nasty witch, and Cas; well, I just haven't been feeling Cas, too much this season. He's not as quirky as I like him to be. I miss the Cas who is confused when he watches porn, not the Cas who's trying to help his dead vessel's daughter work out her daddy issues.:lol

We can blame Metatron for the 'new' Cas. Now, he gets all of those pop culture references that were lost on him before.

Honestly, I would've loved to see them take Demon Dean in the direction of the big bad for a season.

IMHO, I think the best time for Demon Dean as the big bad would've been in season 4, after Dean died and went to Hell in the season 3 finale. They could've just pushed Castiel saving him back to season 5.

The Demon Dean story, to be fully realized and done right, needed to be in the earlier years of the show - when it was still shot and written like a horror drama, had the darker atmosphere, and the serious tone. Also, in those first two seasons with the arc with Sam and Yellow Eyes (and the whole "Will Sam go dark? thing), Dean becoming a demon and being evil would've been a good twist. I would've used Alistair as sort of a rival/replacement for Yellow Eyes, who saw the potential for darkness in Dean and twisted him while he was in Hell.

Jensen Ackles was absolutely capable of killing a story like that and they should've utilized his talent. Just that one scene in season three where he confronts his Demon self was so powerfully acted..... And Demon Dean in a minute was ten times more creepy than an evil Sam could've ever been.

That **** at the bar was more meta than the entire musical episode.:lol I hope that kind of commentary doesn't mean they're on their way out. It may not be the show it once was, but a world without Supernatural would be a bitter pill to swallow.

If SN were a person, it'd be the guy who you used to think was the best guy ever, and then, he stuck around too much and you started to realize he was just as human as the rest of us, but, for all his mistakes, he was still a pretty cool guy, even though you didn't view him the same way that you used to, and, once you got used to seeing him that way, he just sort of stuck around, and, now, he's been around so long that you wouldn't know what to do without him.

Reminds me of someone...

Caught up.

Last nights ep: WOW!!! This had that 'feel' back. Makes me miss Bobby so much. This was a highlight for the season. Loved this episode.

C'mon, Crowley!!! Get that 'umph' back!

What I'm wondering is "what the hell was 'the cost' for Bobby?" Five rounds in Angel Fight Club? He gets to be human again?

Bobby was one of the best parts of the show, not just this ep but the series. He's the glue. I could have this show run forever, yeah some of the story arcs I could pass on but getting short stories, monsters of the week work for me. All in all it's the brothers story that I love. I have a few of the books and I want to read the rest.

this show could seriously benefit by doing 12-13 episode seasons. I've become a huge fan of shows that have smaller season runs....just more substance and less filler material.

And I was thinking about this the other day, but I want one more 'apocalypse.' Bring Lucifer back. Bring God into this.

This show still has the 'it' factor. They just need to show that they have it.

Honestly, like I said, I think it would be cool to have something like that happen, and then have an "epilogue" season of the brothers doing what they do best. Eventually, you find out what their Heaven actually is, and that, for all the regret that they have about their families and their sacrifices, they wouldn't have it any other way.
