Re: A Supernatural Kitbash - 1st Blade Finished Sculpt

It's custom. Not sure what thread.

Re: A Supernatural Kitbash - 1st Blade Finished Sculpt

We discussed the shirt on page two and three. Though he may have shown the process in his own thread. He dyed and painted the shirt to match a particular episode.

Re: A Supernatural Kitbash - 1st Blade Cast

First cast of the first blade. Now say that five times fast. A little flashing on it but otherwise good.

Re: A Supernatural Kitbash - 1st Blade Cast

Quick and easy paint up. Mostly washes over the bone colored cast. Thoughts?

Nice! I dig the tribal stuff near the hilt. I never saw that in any of my stills. Were those added for certain episodes?

Also got my new dean head in yesterday. My opinion other then the eye color being wrong it is an amazing sculpt and definitely an upgrade from most if not all dean sculpts out there uploadfromtaptalk1441108100194.jpg

Most of my stills came from the episode where he finally kills Abaddon. Looking at them now the markings are so faint I missed them. They don't seem to appear on the reverse side either. Luckily it's just paint.

That makes the figure legit. Awesome!

Re: A Supernatural Kitbash - 1st Blade Paint

It's been a bit hectic here. Ive managed to do a few of each sculpt though. I should have plenty ready to go next week.

Re: A Supernatural Kitbash - 1st Blade Start

What's everyone doing to create a height difference between Sam & Dean? Someone suggested these bodies but the one is almost too tall in my opinion: 2PC Looking at pics it's only three or four inches. Notice their shoulders here . . .

I have tried this a couple of bodies, looks in the live well.
On sculpty not see) while on my painting)

Re: A Supernatural Kitbash - 1st Blade Paint

Do the dragon figure boots slip over the feet or use pegs? Too big or two small for hot toys?

Honestly I just used longer feet and neck pegs. Gives a subtle yet noticeable height difference.
