Here's a ruby dagger paint up. Obviously missing the glyphs but I'm really not sure how I'll tackle those. The camera didn't exactly pick up the color of the blade but hope ya like it!

It's plastic resin. So it'll be just like any other accessory.

I found two metallic paints I plan to test out on the blade this weekend. Hoping for a better finish than I currently have. Also looking into decals for the glyphs.

draw the glyphs on with a pen then using a dremil go over the glyphs and then once your done take a little nail polish remover and go over the glyphs this will get rid of the ink.

The blades only around a quarter inch wide. So the glyphs would need to be about an eighth of that. I'm also trying to get the faint line that surrounds them. My skills with a dremel aren't that good. lol

Here are two other paints I've been testing. The differences in color are subtle. The first doesn't spray well and ends up gritty. Pretty much a no go.




The second sprays smoothly and has a less glittery effect in person. So it may be the one.




There was another option that never really turned out. Sadly it made the blade chrome but after four attempts only one looked decent.

i got both Sam and dean on my workbench now and wgp did an amazing job on these.they nailed the likeness on both brothers.i can't wait to add a set to my collection.
