If I was putting them together now, I would probably use TTL or Hot Toys, but I did these guys years ago when there was much less selection so they are both on Dragon bodies. Dean is on a regular one and Sam is on the Football body which is much bigger and broader.

In stead of making Dean's neck shorter, maybe you could find some of the long Hot Toys footpegs for Sam? They are fully compatible with TTL bodies and make a big difference in height without making Dean look like a hunchback.

As promised, Nek just sent me the final revisions to the heads to post. Here they are in all of their kodak color glory! :)

Those are beautiful! Can't wait to try my hand at painting those!

Intersting! Didn't know such pegs existed... Do you know where I could find some? Besides, I'm looking for foot pegs in general for an upcoming custom and am looking for a source, so if anyone knows where to find some, I'd be grateful! :D

I used that on my Sam, the T-800 foot peg. Pricey lil bugger but well worth it.

Anyhoo, I received my necklace today and it is fantastic,

These are the footpegs you want.

It also occurred to me that another option for the Sam body would be a DC Direct figure because they are 13" and buff. Except, I think they are sculpted with a neck so Nek's sculpt would have to be modified, but scalewise it should look awesome.

15 bucks for that!!!!!!!

Looks like I'm going to strip my T800 and cast long and short pegs!!!! with a little color mixed in the resin, I can probably match the color and make as many as I want!!!

as for the DCD bodies, I don't think that could work. They are VERY bulky and mucular. sam is more of a lean guy. Actually, if I don't use the peg trick, I may end up using a Buck or an Omega body...

But I have to try making pegs!

And those are actually some of the cheapest of those pegs I've seen!

I hear you on the recasting - it's the only way to make them cost effective. I've made a bunch of copies of the pair I got and they've come in very useful indeed, although a bit fragile due to the kind of resin I used. Holmes is definitely getting a set when I get his body in.

The only DCD body I have is the Heath Ledger Joker and maybe it's not quite a huge as some of the super-hero ones? I can't find mine right now, but I do remember thinking it would work for Sam, but then I do think he is a pretty big dude in the chest area.

Of course, one of the other bodies would work just as well, if not better, and would be compatible with the neck which makes a big difference.

Thanks guys! :D

Dean should follow next week! I made these with a flesh-colored resin to start with, but then I intend to paint the originals in the traditional way. Then I'll post them up and you will make the choice on which I should use! :D

I'll also try making the Colt during the Xmas holyday break! :D

16k If you need any help with reference material for the leather jacket I've got plenty of shots of my 1:1 Wilson's jacket. I was considering having a go myself but am a little too busy and lazy to begin, plus I've got a few projects that need wrapping up.

Hey, thanks SupernaturalAddict! :D

That would be great of you! I have some pretty good reference pics, but still have a few interrogations about the way the pockets are made.
Also, am I wrong or is there a lateral seam on the inside of the sleeves?

Thanks again! Pictures would be awesome! :D

Thanks, it was pretty easy. I have been planning to do Sam and Dean for awhile but could never find the HS I liked until now. I just hit ebay and found what I thought looked right. You can't really tell in the pix that Dean is shorter but I used a HT TT narrow with Chris Redfield (S.T.A.R.S.) short pegs for Dean and a reg HT TT for Sam. I also so soaked the dressed figures in water the set the folds in their clothes so they look like the hang right then air dried them.
