Of course the sheep voted for another sheep. Sheep are never going to vote for a lion like Russell. They were a bunch of fools and lightweights playing with a heavyweight and true master of Survivor. He controlled the game from the very beginning and the jury of puppets were bitter and resentful at the puppet master.

I really liked the way you put that. I like Survivor a lot but probably at least half the time the person who deserves to win doesn't. My idea of a survivor is someone who can overcome the elements, the hunger, the surroundings and still thrive. That is Russell right there.

They haven't done the car prize since before Panama. Starting with Panama, viewers voted to see who got the free car. I don't remember seeing anything this season about voting for someone to get the car though.

Every person on Survivor who's won a car in a challenge has gone on to lose the overall game. So maybe it's a good thing. Also, I'd rather win the extra $100,000 they award to the player of the game than a car. That's just me.

Unless something has changed, yes. And 3rd place gets $85,000.

Then they award another $100,000 to the "Player of the Game" voted by fans.

EVERYONE on Survivor gets paid a certain amount based on how many days they stay on, even the people that get eliminated 1st. I don't really consider it a prize so much as an "appearance fee".
