Yeah, that 360 is much better than any picture. I hope that's the production piece. The sculpt looks dead on.

It is, the hair color is darker there... so it is the prod piece.

I'm going to have to say that viewing the 360 has not changed my opinion on the sculpt. To be fair, it could be the paint job, but nonetheless I still feel it's significantly off.

I agree. Doesn't look like RP to me.

Matt Dillon and Ben Affleck were the first two resemblances that crossed my mind.

Nice turtleneck...

Something has got to give in China. They keep producing really bad paintjobs.

:lol I don't know what to say to this statement except that early Sideshow human figures like the Larry Talbot , Bela the Gypsy, and Murder Legendre had exceptional paintjobs. In my opinion it started getting a wee bit iffy with the Bond figures, then really started becoming a problem on the X-Files and Buffy figures. And today we have some seriously problematic figures like the Aragorn. I still love the products that Sideshow produces, but I think the 12" figures are suffering from quality control issues.

Yeah, how comes the first Universal Monsters had such great paint jobs ??? Concerning this figure, I think he looks ok...better than some Star Wars figures at least.Waiting for Arnold....:monkey1

Well, the proto definitely looks better than the production model, but judging by the new T-1000 pix on the SSC web site, the figure still looks great, over all. I had the Terminator 12" figures high on my cancel list, but seeing the new T-1000 images... It's going to be hard to cancel him. Guess, it's a keeper.

I think the big question is - was his name Austin?! :lol

I think it looks quite good for a 12 incher.

PsychoCenobite :monkey5

Austin was the name of the officer the T-1000 killed and is mimicking when he sampled his uniform.

I'm not collecting these terminator figures (too many toys, not enough money) but if i was.... I'd be dying to get a hold of this just so I could repaint it and make it look like Robert Patrick again (I can tell the sculpt is there.... some paint and that would be a great looking likeness)

I think the quality of the Police Uniform has worsened from the Prototype. I remember it fitting much snugger and more like it was in the film, here it looks a little too big and baggy. Maybe all it needs is to be ironed out, but it could look better.
