im still tilting towards connor

aaah i wish i could buddy, what are the other figures from the terminator line u see hot toys making??

Bigger is not better. Bigger is dumb for Terminators.

Connor will likely be harder to find in the future (no pun intended), he fits in with any storyline yet because noboby has gone to the future on screen yet with John, and that likeness just makes him a perfect displayable piece.

the T-600 is cool, but doesn't fit the Cameron mythology that the only difference between 600 and 800 was rubber skin.

Kyle said, "the 600 series had rubber skin, we spotted them easy, but these (800s) are new, they look human."

He didn't say, "the 600 series was gigantic like the Incredible Hulk with huge gatling guns strapped to their arms and rubber skin, we spotted them easy, but these (800s) are new, they only look like Austrian Mr. Universes."

Besides, Connor is cheaper.

i thought this was gonna be another one of those stupid polls when i saw the title :lol

600 series FTW they had rubber skin you know. apparently we spotted them easy :google:google :lol

yeah silentsurfer i completely agree with u on that, some pretty valid points there,im just once nod away from pickin connor now...i know some ppl compare him t an ordinary military figure, but to me he seems so much more....what with the knockout headsculpt!

You can't go wrong with Bale as the legendary Connor. He is the reason for the whole story anyway, and now we will finally see why (hopefully).

With such anticipation and hype on this one with essence of Batman involved, it would mean the end of the already questionable director's career if it flopped.

There are two more Terminator movies still to come and so there's bound to be more variants of Connor in the future so you dont have to pick up what is likely to be only the first.

The T-600 however is the Terimator for this instalment, you probably wont see it again in future sequels as they progress in terminator-technology in the film.

If you already have the T-800 though, why not get something different? Then again Connor is a truetype fig with 38? points of articulation and has great posing potential. My advise is wait till you see the film then decide.

He also didnt say anything about T-700s.

Cameron meant for the Terminator series numbers to be even denominations ie 600, 800 and 1000 and 100,0000 (T2: Battle Across Time). They were never supposed to be odd numbered which is another thing that I hate about the lore that they fuct with.

Both are equally awesome IMO.Personally I'd buy Connor.

Very good point, and I'm surprised I didn't pick up on that. I did however figure on 700s being some in between model that never got deployed. In the newest trailer, it appears that there is a human that Skynet attempted to make into a Terminator. Perhaps that's the 700, and probably a failed design. We'll see.

I'm unfamiliar with the T-100,000 (that is such a totally lame number BTW), but not as lame as the T2-3D Universal Studios attraction's T-1,000,000. Cameron pulled such a Lucas on that one.

T600.....! I mean, they are all cool, but why not have an actual terminator collectible from the terminator series. And, if there is another, you can get the Bale version then.....(assuming obvious story stuff that I am avoiding)
