The more the merrier when it comes to endos. I have been happy with my 1/4 hot toys, but will keep an eye on this one for sure.

Don't you know the Hot Toys 1:4 Endo is called dollie by the fans of Marvel statues of rainbow colored overly grown men in tights? :D

:lol Yeah it's the only toy on my shelves, but he looks badass.

Slim chance another 1/2 comes out anytime soon if ever, and the HCG is pretty good anyway. The CM is very nice, but I don't care for the pose or the price. There was a couple just recently that went for around $2k that I passed on and got the HCG instead. Why would you think the 1/2 would not be sought after later? Even the 1/2 torso bust still holds its value around $1000. It may not be perfect or quite as detailed as the CM, but it looks really good.

yep, the 1:2 aint perfect, but it's a good piece and the 2nd best option outside the CM. I'd be interested if this ended up being a 1:3 maquette, but very unlikely. I've been waiting for a 1:4 or 1:2 T-600.

I really like my 1:2 endo, big imposing piece :)

I hope this maquette is 1:4 scale, I will almost certainly buy it as I need a 1:4 endo to go with my T1 and T2Bd pf's.

Super excited for the full reveal :)

I don't have either, but really want to pick a 1/4 Endo up. I don't normally collect hot toys but would make an exception if their 1/4 Endo is really good? Otherwise I've just been keeping an eye out for the old SS 1/4 scale. What would you guys suggest who have both?

If you don't mind HT, I don't want to start down that road, their version looks much better than the original Maquette.
Bad teeth, loose limbs, base sticker warping, and chrome paint prone to flaking.

My t800 pf ex wait list converted and I cancelled it due to how cheap the regular is, but then I held off because this got announced. Pending the pose, I'll probably bite the bullet and make this my first maquette. I've been saving my reward points for something that is normally out of my price range.

I'd love a quality Endoskeleton statue but I'd really like a T1 version, which I know isn't likely because manufacturers always want to stick a gun in his hand.

Still, I'm looking forward to seeing this in full sometime soon.

I actually really like the middle pose of the concept art, especially if the arm is poseable as it suggests.

Maybe after all the humans are killed in the future, yoga becomes a popular pastime for the endo's. :idea

All those poses look a bit too human to me. I don't see an Endo posing like that, and we are sick of the SS one leg up poses.

:goodpost: totally agree Stinger...the iconic Sideshow one leg up pose is becoming a bit overkill now!!! However, the art concepts do look a bit too human like you said and I certainly wouldn't imagine the endoskeleton to be posed that way. For me personally, i would love to see a classic museum pose with a dioramic base from the end scene of the first movie (molt and lava, factory warehouse theme)

Just to add another point of view as I just did over on the other bored. The Endos are also based on Human architecture and designed to mimic us. The models used in the movies are restricted by their very nature so we didn't see much in the way of movement, but it isn't really that hard to imagine an endo making human like movements for me. I like museum poses as much as the next guy especially on large, detailed pieces like this will hopefully be. But in this case I think that middle pose with out stretched arms will make for one heck of a display. It will certainly be imposing given that it will probably be wider than it is tall. Also bear in mind that we are talking about very rough concept drawings here, the actual statue will no doubt have been altered slightly so don't write it off yet even if you aren't a fan of the one leg up look, it may have been toned down.

Fair point Matt...reading your post is just making me more excited to see the full reveal :lol This will (hopefully) be my first Endo in my collection (unless you count the 18inch NECA figure which wasn't actually that bad) ;)
